Oh my goodness! He's so fluffy! It's videos like these that make me miss my Maine Coon girl Buttons. She was my childhood pet, we had to leave her behind when we moved from Virginia to Florida. She impressed a deep love of cats on me and I still always have at least one cat in my home. The Maine Coon is definitely an Ambassador race for all cats. <3
I have a big Maine Coon, named Bigelow. He looks almost exactly like your cat. He is a mellow fellow, and he is very loyal. He has the heart of a LION. He is also a fearless defender of his turf. And is so loving. He is just a beautiful, cuddly little lion, who showed up at my door, on one, wonderful, blessed day.
I recently replied via my direct email that you probably didn't recognize.2 words abreviated,SF@gmail.com with some pic's attached.After researching it seems that our cat may have been an NFC.A stray found in Massachussetts.Any way,what a love bomb MM was.Lemy know if you got that email?XXXOOO'S.

I just found your videos today and am so in love with Micmac. I am so sorry he is gone. Thank you for sharing him with us. I adore the way you speak with him-it is so evident how special your relationship & bond was. I too don't like to hold my cat a lot (she does not like it) but we love to be in the same room together and I talk to her constantly and she likes to sleep by my side. My cat holds a huge place in my heart, but Micmac has found space in there today also :)
What you said about never giving up on a lost cat...my cat got scared when I moved...she ran off, and was gone for...3 years! One morning she appeared on my doorstep skinny and scarred, one ear almost gone...must have lived in the wild all that time. But, she had a wonderful life after that...lived to be 16 years old.
i'm sorry for ur loss...i just lost my cat of 12 yrs a couple days ago and it's hard. it sucks to come home and know that they won't be there to crawl in your lap after a long day to comfort u or meow to let u know "hey! i'm hungry!" lol. but we will meet up with our lost kitties one day when the time comes. until then you can hold on to all the good times u shared. :)

This is the kind of cat you just want to pick up and cradle in your two arms, and never let down, or go of. It's probably just as well I never met this sweetheart, because you said he didn't particularly like to be held. Somewhere, somehow, Ms. Zathey, your baby is making someone happy. Your love, and his presence, were too much to die away. And if kitties have memories, I'm sure he thinks often of you, too....
If there is a god and there is a heaven, or paradise, or whatever, I believe he will have to allow us to all be together again. It would be cruel not to, since we had nothing but love for 12 years.
I don't tend to pick up any of my cats often, don't like fur on my clothes. I just pat them & talk to them. They curl up with me in bed each night.
The quizzical look he makes at the 33 second mark is amazing. I was very sad to see that he passed away, he's by far my favourite cat on Youtube. Beautiful, friendly and intelligent.
i just lost my maine coon cat 2 weeks ago to a congestive heart failure. it all happened so fast and left me heart broken. I want to let you know that my heart goes out to you as i know how you must feel. I want to get another Maine Coon again soon, but i am worried i will never love another the way i loved mine. your videos make me laugh now , so thank you :)
You are lucky you have so many vids of MicMac. I have lost my beautiful cat Lupin 6 months ago, still think about him and miss him every day. I am picking up two new Maine Coon boys next weekend and now am so looking forward to them, I hope you too will soon find another cat to love and when you do, that cat will be the luckiest cat in the world, going to the best mum. We have a Maine coon we adore. He disappeared for a week, I had thyroid surgery for cancer and looked like the bride of frankenstein, sobbing and knocking on folks doors. Finally as I was convinced he was "gone for good, we'll have to face it Mike" we heard a BANG at the door. He came in and checked out all his toys and THEN kissed us. His tail was wet and the rest dry. WE THINK he was caught in the sewer.
Are you referring to his name? I actually named him Miko, but he kept correcting me every time I called him that, saying "Mac! Mac!" Ok! I'll call you Mic Mac instead of Miko! Ashley's mother Molly did the same thing. She kept saying Mow (rhymes with now). So she became Molly Molly Mow Mow.
LIFE was the best reason for waking up MM. If i could wake him up today, where he rests outside my library, I would move heaven & earth with my cries. He was the most amazing cat who ever lived & I loved every moment of his life.
He looks just like my Tigger! Beautiful. However, I found Tigger as a stray in 2002, so whoever lost him never got him back, but I gained a wonderful friend. He often sits on my lap as I write my books. I wouldn't know what to do without him. He is such a huge part of my life.
I have to admit, I'm jealous of all the video footage you have of your Micmac. I only have 1 video of my Nightmare and it's almost too dark to see. I had several, but they got stolen. I wish I had taken alot more. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

The interaction between you and your boy is priceless! As you said in another one of videos, he never seemed to have a bad day. The "doodles" he makes when you call his name out just melt me. What a wonderful breed!!

My beloved MM died 4 weeks ago, quite suddenly. A vicious, insidious cancer in his hind legs. And 3 days ago, cancer took my beloved black sheltie Dar, also without warning. I'm utterly shattered.
Oh damn, that is shocking to hear! What kind of cancer was it? I read about the theory that fibrosarcoma is caused by vaccine shots. Was the cancers place at the same spot where they got their shots?
A stupid, ridiculous, unfathomable cancer of the back legs. It did not affect any lymph glands. I don't vaccinate my animals by the way, except initially. But I use homeopathic nosodes for rabies, etc.
Where are you located? Could I buy a kitten from you? I'm in Nova Scotia, and know a person who travels throughout the US,driving transport. They do animal resucues and are wonderful pet people.
I live in Germany and I am not a professional breeder but I had so many friends looking for a kitten that I decided to do them a favor and let my cat give birth. And it was an experience I never want to miss. To see the little kitten be born and grow up was the most fulfilling thing I ever could imagine. One of them was so cute that I decided to keep him and sell his father instead.
I hope you will find soon a kitten that will help you to get over your loss. Your Micmac will live in your heart.
I have MCS - my home is chemical free. No cleaning products, no carpeting, I eat vegan wholistic organic food & live in a pristine environment. Unfortunately, cat food is made from the diseased portions of factory farmed animals, the tumours & offal that is left to rot on the floors until it's taken away to a pet food processing plant. I've never been able to get my cats to eat homemade, although I've feed my dogs homemade since 1985.

My cat Aslan looks like him except he's completely tan. He walked out of our garage one morning and was missing for two months until someone found him 3 miles away. He survived two snowstorms, walked across a 6 lane highway, and two sets of train tracks. My mom called the police station everyday until we found him :) You can never give up
aww, i'm sorry that you must've been so worried during the snowstorms. i know i would be. it's terrific that someone found him, that must've been joyous.
I also have a similar story. My cat had to stay with my sister for a year because I lived in a place where I couldn't take him and some one CATNAPPED him for about 8 months. Eventually my boy was found by one of my sisters neighbours and she went and saved him from the catnappers. Here was one happy kitty when he came back to live with me and since then (this all happened two years ago) he has been so clingy, he hates being in a room without me.
i have a similar story to the one described in the discription. i moved a long way and my cat was the friskiest most high energy 1 year old cat you will ever meet. we would wake up at 1 in the morning to hear him attacking the hall rug :) but soon after moving he ran away and was missing. we put up signs and everything for a month. we thought he was dead. then one day almost 10 months later he walks up to the back door like nothing ever happened. he was skinny to a point of being extremely
unhealthy. we took him to the vet for an infected wound and for parasite checkups. he then refused to go out of the house for almost a week and only used the liter box. he ate and ate and ate. he is now 24 pounds, the fattest cat i have ever seen. he is very lazy but also the friendliest cat ever. on rare occasions his old friskiness will come back and he will play like a kitten, but most of the time he just lays around and gets pet. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR CAT! THEY ARE THE SWEETEST THINGS EVER!
my cat also ran away after i moved, it was found 11 months later 15km away at my old house, spooky i still have no idea how it had any clue of which way it was meant to go.
I got my Maine Coon, Sweet Pea, because he followed my friends home. They searched for his owners, but no one claimed him. He's the second Maine Coon I've had, and they are unlike other cats—so friendly and tolerant and affectionate. I joke that he's the love of my life, but it's not really a joke.
My maine coon flash is the love of my life. Everyone always thinks I am joking when I say that but yep I am not. Just like micmac he talks to me all the time. I love how they are so smart and they pay real attention to us unlike other cat breeds.

Thank you! I'm on vacation but will post more videos as soon as I return. Micmac's fans are emailing me, asking why I haven't posted any videos this month! He's one amazing cat, and surely missing me because the cats are not allowed outside when I'm on vacation.

My cat Aslan looks like him except he's completely tan. He walked out of our garage one morning and was missing for two months until someone found him 3 miles away. He survived two snowstorms, walked across a 6 lane highway, and two sets of train tracks. My mom called the police station everyday until we found him :) You can never give up

I also have a similar story. My cat had to stay with my sister for a year because I lived in a place where I couldn't take him and some one CATNAPPED him for about 8 months. Eventually my boy was found by one of my sisters neighbours and she went and saved him from the catnappers. Here was one happy kitty when he came back to live with me and since then (this all happened two years ago) he has been so clingy, he hates being in a room without me.

i have a similar story to the one described in the discription. i moved a long way and my cat was the friskiest most high energy 1 year old cat you will ever meet. we would wake up at 1 in the morning to hear him attacking the hall rug :) but soon after moving he ran away and was missing. we put up signs and everything for a month. we thought he was dead. then one day almost 10 months later he walks up to the back door like nothing ever happened. he was skinny to a point of being extremely

unhealthy. we took him to the vet for an infected wound and for parasite checkups. he then refused to go out of the house for almost a week and only used the liter box. he ate and ate and ate. he is now 24 pounds, the fattest cat i have ever seen. he is very lazy but also the friendliest cat ever. on rare occasions his old friskiness will come back and he will play like a kitten, but most of the time he just lays around and gets pet. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR CAT! THEY ARE THE SWEETEST THINGS EVER!

my cat also ran away after i moved, it was found 11 months later 15km away at my old house, spooky i still have no idea how it had any clue of which way it was meant to go.

I got my Maine Coon, Sweet Pea, because he followed my friends home. They searched for his owners, but no one claimed him. He's the second Maine Coon I've had, and they are unlike other cats—so friendly and tolerant and affectionate. I joke that he's the love of my life, but it's not really a joke.

My maine coon flash is the love of my life. Everyone always thinks I am joking when I say that but yep I am not. Just like micmac he talks to me all the time. I love how they are so smart and they pay real attention to us unlike other cat breeds.
