Weren't the "boys" lucky to have grown up knowing Ted Healy, who gave them their start after he was already very famous. As the wife of Ted Healy, Jr., I am biased no doubt, but who's to know how much fame this comedy trio would have acquired......or if they would have even become a comedy trio. Just some food for thought for those who like more gourmet cuisine.
i LOVED WATCHING THE sTOOGES AS A KID IN THE 60s My mom loathed the Stooges cause my 2 brothers and I tortured each other and our 2 younger sisters with Stooge antics. She kept telling us we,d poke ourselves blind. She told her friends we,d drive her to the nuthouse if she did,nt kill us first !
On vacation in PA in 2007, I made an appointment & we visited the Stoogeum. We spent a lot of time looking at the exhibits, & my son (4-years old at the time) & I had a blast watching Stooges films in the theater together. Gary, the owner/founder is really cool. He married Larry's grand-neice, and he got a lot of this stuff from Larry's family members.
It is really one of the most well put together exhibits (of any kind) I've ever seen. The collection he has & the amount of design, presentation & display of it all is incredible. Some of the items, like movie posters, are the only existing ones still around.
I'm glad this video is out there, as you're not allowed to take photos & videos in the building.
Good film... it's hard to find many photos of the inside of this museum! However, I still didn't get my "life-goal" question answered... What ever became of the Flying Submarine that the Stooges took into orbit?
@Gary747 I saw it hanging in a display case. It's a small, handmade model maybe about a foot and a half long. You'd be amazed what they have there! Lots more than what this video shows. Worth the trip if you can get there. The folks that run the place are awesome as well.
This place is FIRST CLASS all the way, I never laughed so hard and so long as when we sat down in the theater and watched some shorts.

Just watched "Meet The Baron" last night- I could definitely
see the chemistry between the 4. Tell your husband I thought his father was a really funny and talented guy.
best wishes,

According to"The Three Stooges Scrapbook"
(The book..not the tv cartoon show pilot)?
Moe actually said"Forever is a long time,but
..with a little luck..we might just make it!"?
