personally i think arabs are the best to start off kids on, i started on one, rode it 4 2 years(3 times a week), now I ride a thoroughbred and it's not the same :(

yes i do. We took him on the beach the other day well i rode him to see what he was like and he was scared of the water and a little strong, we went for a canter and both charlie and my friends horse had a little buck haha so i dont think my brother will be riding on his own down there just yet. I took jason to lunge him the other day and he was a good boy but draged jason over and then when he rode him on the lunge he took off and draged me lol Jason did well to stay on.

Hes not getting as much work as he should over winter becuase i work when jasons home and only have sundays to ride with my brother, and i have my two 4 year olds than need riding every day and they are handfulls at the moment. Love the new additions. Its a shame about Lewi and your jumping career with him, you should consider trailblazers showjumping it is similar to bsja but you are not restricted by the size of your horse. The jumps range from 75cm to 1mtr5cm. Theres a big final at stonleigh every summer, its great fun, lewi is a talanted jumper and would do great. I compete my horses trailblazers and love it, i am 23 and had to ride my 14.2 welsh cob cross against all the BIG horses, he still wins them though :-D

i am going back to america next week. He is going back to the eventer/dressage trainer thats backed him for the 2 weeks i am way then i will be taking him home and going back to her for lessons on jumping because I DONT HAVE A CLUE lol but i will be bringing him on and if need be she will help me. She is a amazing rider and its 100+ a week to take your horse to her, but Jacks owner will be paying for his training and i will just ride him the way i feel he needs to be.

Jack was almost stolen as a foal. He was in a field with a mini and his mother one night some wanker cut the fences and had a box waiting to take him, his mother bolted and jack and Alfie the deformed mini from appleby fair bolted off down the road and where galloping around town for hours hahaha

Thanks Charlie is so good, he is a right kick along pony with my brother but when i get on him all i need to do is tell him to trot/canter and off ge goes lol. He realy looks after Jason. I jumped him the other day to see what he was like and he was..... good for a new rider lol so jason wants to try. We went for a 2 and a half hour ride up the mountain the other day Jason was so happy.
