  • @Dabayare i would look into it, but im pretty sure that this should be fine, as all it is is tiny little tweezers so it would be much quicker! :) xx

  • I am trying out electrolysis which requires that I pluck the hair out after treatment. Is this ok then.

  • @InTheMoment hi, thanks for your comment! well if your epilator comes with a attatchment head for underarms/bikini area definitly use that, but as a general rule, trim the hair first, as it will make it much easier, and hold the skin very taut as this will minimise the pain :)

  • Hey! I have a braun epilator too! I want to use it on my bikini area, any tips?

  • does it ever pinch your skin?

  • I have an emjoi brand epilator. I have not tried braun. I love mine though and I will never go back to shaving my legs ever again after using an epilator!

  • i epilated yesterday for the first time after this video !

  • @anon3339 did you survive? would you say the money and pain is worth it?

  • @weaslem Its definitely worth it !! ...it also didn't hurt that bad.

Maybe get your underarms waxed a couple of times before you epilate to make it less painful. The money is worth it over time if you compare it to waxing.

  • @anon3339 thanks :)

  • thanks

  • Thanks :)

i would have to say Braun because me whole family use them and i can trust them :)

  • Hi @kirbs1995 thanks for your comment :)

I know it hurts at first, i was pretty terrified when i first

used mine i had to get my mum to do my legs for me because i didnt have the guts to keep going!

I have been epilating for ages now, almost a year and i cant feel anything

i would say by about the 3rd time the pain definitly subsides and after that it just gets less and less, so keep at it! :D

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask

    Lots of Love Laura

  • Hey i'm 14 and got an epilator for xmas. I tried it for about 30 secs and it hurt so badly i stopped. How many times did you use it before the pain got slightly better? I really wanna use mine i'm just too scared atm :) x

  • Hi @sweettulay14 thanks for the comment! I have tried waxing ONCE before and i have to say it hurt so much that i stopped half way through one leg :/. and epilating does hurt i wont deny it but i wouldnt say as much as waxing. and whats great about epilating is that once you get used to it its really quick and easy. I have been using mine for about a year now and i cannot feel a thing now when i do it :)

if you have any more questions or concerns dont hesitate to contact me :)

    XOXO-Laura

  • Hi guys sorry i havnt repluied for a while, i do know that you can get new epilators which have special attatchment heads for different parts of the body. i.e underarm, bikini line etc

and yes it does get ALL the hairs on your legs(or wherever you want to epilate) and i havent had any instances of it breaking the hairs :)

    thanks for the comments
