Jack Lemmon is one my favorite actors EVER. And I always loved Romy Schneider, even though I saw her in only two movies (Good Neighbor Sam, and What's New, Pussycat?). An interesting coincidence: in both of those flicks, she does a shower scene, and receives flowers while bathing. She was GORGEOUS! RIP Romy.

This movie along with "How to Murder Your Wife" made Jack the no.1 box office star in the world......Jack could never understand why people loved these movies so much, I can......it was his personality on the screen that made you love him.

I think it's great that you cannot even hear her accent THAT much . I mean,considering when this was shot!

I'm Austrian, too and there are still many people who have a terrible accent when they talk English. Romy was ahead in her time - obviously in everything she did :)

actually, she was Austrian - I am, too so I'm particular about that :D she also was in a lot of Austrian movies ... She just got international fame when she then was in French movies so I get why you'd think she was French.
