Pentool Lineart In Photoshop

what photo shop do u use? my dad was talking about getting photoshop for me since ive "skyrocketed" in my drawing (even though i havent :P) and i want to make sure i have the right one :PPPPPPPPPPP

would you say lineart is good for people using mouses instead of actually drawing them with a tablet because i love drawing anime but i cant ever get mypics to look like the pro pics and is there anyway to practice lineart? like tracing over something?

@Hermitboi289Produc I dont have a tablet, so i had to find a way to get a nice lineart without one. Which i did the pentool. Im never guna be using a tablet, because i can do it without i guess..All i can say is pratise alot, my first lineart on the computer didnt look anything like this. With lots of pratise and time comes experience and perfection(sort of).

@Hermitboi289Produc I use a tablet, but even with a tablet this is way easier- you have to be skilled will a line be perfectly curving. Off course, it's only a matter of learning that ability.

how did you make those sharp ends i can never seem to ever draw the side of the eyebrows like that cuz i cant get photoshop to make the ends sharp if you know what i mean >< basicly at 0:16

@Hermitboi289Produc The eyelashes have been done with the smudge tool. For eyebrows i use ''stroke path'' with the eraser.

How did you make the effect where the lines look faded? like they going into points where you did an erasing effect on them but you somehow did it with the pen tool still ? @ 5:54

@CuteAznFwend When you scan it in it becomes your background, Copy and paste it on new layer, and make the background layer completely white. Add a new layer ontop of the scanned layer and lineart on that. (your scanned in picture's layer has to be below your linearts layer at all times.)

@AboriChan11 On the drop down box you can select the eraser (instead of your brush/pencil). I think this is CS3 not sure.

@antikv2007 brush size 1(for full bodies and/or small pictures) 2 for big pictures and heads or waist up :) 3-5 for super cartoony stuff (or you can also set ur resolution to 200-300 for the same effect just a small brush size) :)

Even tho the chance of anyone answering is less than 1 in a million... how is he expanding the path ? Like when he sets the pen outline he does an obsurd amount of right clicking and they become much larger and darker. Example 0:46

Just to clarify, at 1:30 you switched to the Eraser tool and then used the pen tool to make slightly intersecting lines over your hair line art, then used "Stroke Path" with the Eraser so that the hair lines become nice and crisp looking? If this is correct, that is brilliant. What was the style of eraser chosen?
