I think he cant pull the trigger anymore. The mayweather and cotto fights took so much out of zab. I wish pernell had trained him sooner. Zab was so loyal to his father.
Zab is a soft fighter, he's good coming forward and at his best distance getting off those beautiful, fast straight punches. Any really good fighter (kahn) will walk him down after the second round. Judah is an awesome talent but he needed a better trainer than what his father could offer.
zab is very gifted but his training regimen is terrible. he could be one of the greats but he's satisfied with the way he's fighting. real GREATS make breakthroughs and train harder every day. thats why you can see a huge difference between him and greats like pacquaio and mayweather. i believe if he trained like them he'd be better than them. but he doesnt so he isnt.

you have some very good valid points, though i dont agree with amir having good inside skills ? maybe because he hasnt been tested on the inside he seems so far to be able to deal with his challengers well enough to keep them long.

Kahn has never been an inside fighter his style is to keep his opponents on the outside on his jabs and straight rights.. he has quick hands but only in a straight line ! Yes he is bigger than zab and that will prove a major stumbling block for zab to get over.
