this test is complete rubbish, it dose not do a good job at scaling if a student is good or not, I took the test, and scored in the high 60's but now I go to Harvard. Admissions at boarding schools mostly look at your grades ( I had a 4.0 which certainly helped). My advice is don't stress too much, just get the grades in school.
You only get graded on the questions you actually answer, for the ones you get wrong it is minus a fourth of a point and skipped questions do not get any deduction.

The test was actually always in two parts, upper and lower. But the 8th and 9th is part of the upper level testing section, along with 10th and 11th. The lower lever is 6th to 7th, i think.
@EnglishRyan i took the test about a month ago and im pretty sure that the lower level is 5-7 and upper is 8-11. i was taking the upper level with high school juniors and im in eigth grade.
u guys are so Gross! sat are not fun, the video person should give us examples of 8 and 9th grade sat test so we can work on the problems! huh, sound like an idea???

There is a booklet that you can purchase online and they would mail the book to you. The book gives an example of what the test is like.
