  • i think i have an idea on how to host the javelin in the olympics to make it more fun

watch video for more details XD

  • @janper16 they are accually the best equipted

  • There's obviously no point being caught out in the open in a tank any more.

    That is scary!

Does anyone know the tank model at 0:27 ?

  • @bagpopuk

The tank is a Russian T-72 model (I think the B model). The Russian's currently use C and D models of it, but their armor isn't too different and plus these models are based off of the middle eastern tanks that they would encounter (Mind that most of the enemy tanks were destroyed early in the invasion)

  • @GameReviewer1987 Thanks for the info :-)

  • That is serious shit.

  • "Objective Complete"

    "Game Saved"

    :D

  • that is so fuckin cool i want like 30 of those

  • oh god

  • Beat that COD

  • i hate it when the ice cream man comes by

  • I'm not American but I think that The U.S troops are the best in the world.

  • @WeatherManKevin its b/c they have microphones near the blast site... so on camera you can hear sounds from both ends

  • @WeatherManKevin youre stupid

  • LOL 50k per rocket. well these russian T72 were the very much outdated tank that is still used today. i wonder what would this do on the T90 :D

  • Chuck Norris can do the same... using a toothpick

  • @z4crad you mean redeck

  • @agronland And I highly doubt you served in Iraq due to the unbelievably false conjecture, "you pay like 1 dollar taxes," and the abbreviation, "stfu," I strongly believe a grunt would NOT do that. Your texture (verbally) creates the image of an insecure fourteen year old male.

  • @SqueekyMonkey101 why doesnt test firing make sense to you? they test them to make sure they work... think about it

  • Comment removed

  • There goes my taxes...

  • @SqueekyMonkey101 idiot you pay like 1dollar taxes to them they are risking their life stfu

  • @agronland I'm talking about paying for a wasted 1 million dollar Javelin Projectile and a fucking salvaged Russian tank for this, "testing," (a.k.a. Rednecks that have nothing better to do) interpert a fucking statement correctly before you get all crazy. (It'll help you in the long run)

  • @SqueekyMonkey101 these "rednecks" are risking their live just so you can even go in on your computer all i want is you to show them respect if not go you in war and think if this day will be your last ps iam no american happily swedish member ho served in iraq

  • What you don't see is the series of photos taken of whats left of the tank. The turret flew 50 feet into the air and land 10 meters away from the tank, the engine was blown nearly 100 feet from the tank's chasis, and the tank's road wheels were blown even further. Where the tank's remains sit is just a giant burnt-brown crater about 5 meters across.

  • dang, that thing is brutal

  • LOL testing a javelin using a russian tank... Nice way to send a message XD

  • I'll be honest: I was half expecting it to be a malfunction video.

  • Yep, looks exactly like an exploding tank, filled with explosives.

  • so next time your playing MW2 and you go wow when one of these explodes next to you you know why you died

  • Death from above! A 80.000 $ death...

  • chuck norris would survive

  • Then someone says "Crap! I left my keys and wallet in the tank!"

  • those sand monkeys don't get it ... technology rocks ...

  • was that using fire and forget or no....

  • omfg that tank got rick roll'd

  • Thank God for my dad's company :)

  • thisis only testing not done yet :O

  • Ficoooo!

  • waste of a tank...

  • @allenpinhead would have destroyed so many people i dont like with it, but no they killed it. they should have tested it on the enemy tanks?

  • @allenpinhead It's probably broken

  • and now for the dual wielding javelins test

  • Test guy #1: I think it works. Test guy#2: I'm not convinced, lets shoot it again. Test guy#3: I agree :)

  • Unit cost ; $40,000 (£20,000) (missile); $125,000 (reusable Command Launch Unit)

  • If only red necks could afford these... There goes the neighborhood Fred. Now toss me a beer rofl

  • there goes 80 grand

  • Truely a masterful weapon in design, thumbs up to advanced engineering

  • These missiles and other US weapons should be tested against modern tanks like scraped abrams, leopards, challengers ect. I know most conflicts are involving militia and other 20th century equipped armies who cannot afford these 21st century tanks but still it should be done in case of a conflict with other modern armies.

  • Holy Shit!!!!

  • AMERICA FUCK YEAH LOL

  • a javelin missile costs so much money. that tests costed probably over $100,000

  • @bigjoestaters

Thats $100,00 spent so we know that when that missile hits, nothing survives.

  • Lol, the guy was like HOLY SHIT! lol

  • there goes $80,000... sooo worth it

  • lol doh, look at that

  • lol its just hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm where it gone ......* explosion* there it is LOL

  • Where the hell can i get one of those.

  • @ThaInvalidUsername01 if u have $80k to spend on every shot, call the military lol

  • Well! I wonder what the tank drivers doing today lol

  • lol damn

  • lol tank got raped.

  • wow thats crazy a tank like it was made out of plastic

  • Lesson learnt = Don't fuck with a Javelin!

  • i fuckin like that sit

  • lol ive never seen a javelin fired before and i first thought it was CGI because the rocket came out really slow, then i saw the explosion and now im like " Yeah, thats no fake shit" :P

  • Lmao that was sick when the missle just fell out of the javelin then its rockets kicked in

  • the money spent on this is a drop in the bucket

the amount spent on social security, medicare, etc, is WAY WAY more than defense spending.

  • testing....it needs to be done sometimes

  • @tman858 wow theyre testing and id gladly allow my troops to fool around every once an awhile because im not the one waking up everyday thinking this may be my last day

  • @coolbji Fooling around? With explosives? Sounds like a plan.

  • they only do that to look cool

  • @tman858 That is why they call it a TEST. So then we can safely use it in a war while still kicking Afgahn ass.

  • @peterbuilt379triaxle

Aren't they meant to be helping them? Oh thats right, we're only there bcos of 9/11. No one gave a shit about that country til then. So basically the excuse for the invasion was because a few saudi terrorists trained by americans killed 2,976 victims people. One more time. 'Saudi Arabian' terrorists. So we invade afghanistan and Iraq killing over 700,000 people in the process who had nothing to do with it at all. All this for 20 pissed off muslims from a different country

  • @TheDesertKings You do realise we "gave a shit" about then when the first George Bush was president? or do you not remember a little thing called Operation Desert Storm?

  • because testing an explosive weapon is unnecessary.

  • well tman, when your ass is in a pinch in a combat zone or otherwise you will thank God that we have the weapons we do.

  • its round about £3 million for one rocket it was on a ''future weapons video

  • 1.5 million actually not euros american dollars

  • thats fucking awesome

  • Thats beast

  • Holy shit what the fuck happened to the tank!!! xD

  • This is real life. :P This is how a real javelin works. :) This is not modern warfare 2, haha! video game crap aside, dang, so that's how it works.

  • @TheSOSsignal its actually similar because after firing the missile the rocket goes out then up, and it takes a little longer to hit the ground though

  • well, similar, yea. :) But the time thing you were talking about, that's what i was more focused about. but yea, better explanation than me, haha!

  • PN3ED

  • that must of cost sooooooooooooooo much doesnt a javelin missile cost like 50,000 to make and blowing up a tank, a tank must cost like 500,000. I really am just guessing here it could be more, or less. This is the reason I never went on the price is right.

  • No you can get a scrap tank for about £25,000 or about $50,000

  • a useful comment. Thumbs up

  • Correct me if im wrong, I think that it goes up like that then the missle kicks in because of locking on to enemy vehicles?

  • Nope. It was locked from the ground before firing either by laser gun or by the Javelin Launcher itself. It then goes up and Kicks in directly to the point he pointed on .

  • one javelin missile costs 60,000 to manufacture, it's quite a bit but not millions.

  • @ak4710565

They don't cost millions you fuckhead.

  • ONLY NOOBS USE THE JAVALIN FAG

  • Comment removed

  • that is fucking awesome

  • It wasn't much more than a shell besides, or else was going to be scrapped.

  • For a few seconds, I was wondering where the hell that thing went lol.

  • 80K for a single missle 130K for the launch system. but some bombers cost billions for just one.

  • saving lives....priceless

  • ending lives...not so much

  • wow i cant believe someone would shoot a javalen missile for fun because one single misile is worth 133 million.

i know because it tells uyouon call of duty modern warfare. lol

  • 133 Mil? I honestly don't think so.

  • well thats what it said on the game. it like givesw you facts after you die. but i do think so becaue it locks on to your target. but idk.

  • if i get to shoot one of these im joining the fucking army

  • Waste? They gained valuable experimental results. Would you want to mass-produce anti-tank weapons if you were not sure they could deliver?

  • LOL looks fake but its real

  • That's fuckin awesome

  • Fired my first (and possibly last) one 3 months ago, still remember how awesome it was. Fantastic bit of kit, made me actually think of going over the AT platoon for a while!

Great weapon, and a lot better than the MILAN system.

  • chuck norris spit at it

  • i dont mind paying taxes for this lolz

  • 0:27 - Here you can observe a T-72 tank.

0:35 - Here you can observe a pretty landscape with a little pile of flaming metal.

  • its real i have used it to.... in call of duty

  • believe me its real i was in the tank.

  • this is not fake i can assure you

  • wasnt that far away.

  • ur tax dollars at work. a 3 million dollar tank only purpose to be blown up.

  • Your tax dollars at work. Creating military breakthroughs.

Fucking idiot, don't try to sandbag our troops.

  • military breakthroughs? yea breakthroughs that have one purpose which is to kill people u fucking nazi.

  • Comment removed

  • The purpose is to give out troops the best equipment they can have to deal with any situation which keeps them and America safe. Idiot.

  • no w8 there are 2 sounds! first fake or from other location then a smaller tjuff sound first sound at 0:16 then at 0:18

  • maby they are closer then 100 meters

  • Awesome Technology!

  • that was fucking amazing!

  • wat actually happens is it exits the barrel the wings expand and the rocket ignites and flies toward the target

  • i don't think it was a new tank. proably old or broken or fake

  • just so you know thats a swedish weapon system belive me its true

  • they should call it the criss angel... cuz it can make a tank disappear...

  • Holy shit!

  • learn that from cod4?

  • That was cool when it took off! It like did a mini boost to get it in the air, then blasted away! It looked awesome!

  • holy crap that was awesome i totally abliterated the tank

  • That's a old T-72 and....pwned

  • watse of a tank

  • It was a russian tank.. and it was probably hollowed out and stripped down to just about nothing other then the outside. The military doesnt "waste" anything... Just look at the thousands of Shermans sitting in "graveyards" heh...

  • lol

  • that was a real wrecked tank or it was a decoy?

  • An old one that's been decomissioned.

  • DAAAAAAMNNNNNN!

  • wow that small shit is that strong O_O

  • cost of a single FGM-148 Javelin: $80,000

  • the whole launcher or just the missle?

  • Unit cost : $80,000 (missile); $125,000 (reusable Command Launch Unit)

  • steeerike!!!!!

  • lol ohhh yeah

  • omg whered the tank go haha

  • To ur mums asshole, that's where

  • holy shit hahaha

  • holy crap this is way america is in debt

  • but.....we wont be killed lol

  • fuck there nothin left

  • "HOLY SHEET!"

  • minime version of a nuke

  • hahaha

  • wow

  • Javelin:1

    Soviet Tank: 0

  • There is no Tank what can stop Javelin rocket....

Bad thing is.... every single rocket cost 20 000$.

  • its actually 140 000 US

  • is it? OMG Thx for info. i thought its around 20 000$

  • Try $80,000 per pop

  • my god !

  • thats a fuckin bigger explosion than COD4 lol

  • omg!! is a mini nuke!!

  • lol , HOLY SHIT @@@! hahah

  • that is a big friggin boom o.O

  • haha i love cod

  • Oh my god your just like what i said to my friend...

    "Hey you hear about Iraq"

    "Ahh, i love COD"

    Pisses me off >:O

  • haha no the comment before mine was a line from cod

  • SOAP the javelin is in the barn!!MOVE!!MOVE!!

  • Jackson, pick up the javelin and take out those tanks! Hurry!

  • I'm guessing that tank was filled to the hatches with gasoline. The Javelin does not carry enough explosives to make such an explosion. Also, shaped charges looks entirely different when they go of.

  • you do realise tanks are full of explosive rounds right?
