I draw the mouths in a free program called the Gimp, then I paste them frame-by-frame onto the minifigure's face.

I use Papagayo first, by loading the audio track (in this case the song)into Papagayo, then writing in the lyrics and matching them up to the words in the song. Papagayo shows what the mouths should look like for every frame, so I draw them in the Gimp.

I've been meaning to make some video effects tutorials, and uploading them onto YouTube. I should do one about my method of mouth animation.

I load my audio track (in this case the song) into a free program called Papagayo, which I then use to figure out which mouths go into which frames. Then I draw the mouths in another free program called the Gimp. Then I copy and paste the drawn mouths into the individual appropriate frames. It takes a while, and it's hard to keep the mouths on the minifigure's face if they move a lot. But it looks good.
