Aion is a real epic MMO. The highest achievements are rare enough to impress still, and every player matters. Teamwork is rewarded, and the game fosters truly interesting politics as a result. The drop rates, gear tiers and crafting skills are finely tuned as well.
Not to mention Aion is capable of fully harnessing a new Alienware machine, and yet I am able to run this on a $300 eMachine built 3 years ago as well.

Aion like WOW had a shit load of bugs in the begining and issues that will eventualy be ironed out. What I belive , in my humble opinion, is Aion have allowed for the ability to do things in the future , becuase of its engine, such as house building, that WoW can only dream of. Meanwhile ,although WoW still is a fantastic game, the best it can do is yet another geographical extention to the existing lands and new classes. For this Aion will win many WoW players over to themselves.
Aion is a game that took many years to make it perfect in every way..All i can say is im freaking hooked.It"s a beautiful game and you really have to work for what you get all but money is pretty easy to come by.Please if you have not bought it go get it .20.00 you wont regret spending.

@zefieftw WoW is not an origin of all mmo rpg games and ive never said that...but its a game that is as close to perfection as you can be in RPG games and only thing you can improve in newer games is graphic....and graphic aint that important in mmo games......so if you really think WoW days are gone and there are better fantasy MMO rpg games......youre lying to yourself and you've never played World of Warcraft :).

Youre forgetting that WoW even after 6 years is still playable BECAUSE of its graphic, its stylized, it doesnt want to be as realistic as it can gets because it would look like shit now, cuz graphic in games keeps getting better and better every year, and "realistic" looking games like Tekken , Max Payne etc are getting old very fast so only games like Worms 3D, World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2 are timeless because you cant go wrong with something that supposed to look like this.
@Marobot heh you got one thing wrong though. tekken isnt internetish game its for arcade which is still popular in asia, also, tekken is way older than wow and its keep getting better since its almost 7ish idk now since i play cabal and i dont go to game store to buy the game so... yea idk how much tekken came out but if you want to compare it with psp game/arcade, than i suggest you to re compare it.

3) the reason for WoW having a low graphic requirement is simple, Lower Graphics= Lower Requirements = People with lower PCs can play = More Players. They've lasted this long, I think they have a clue what they're doing.

I kind of hate that theres no free trial outs for this game. Only a friend can invite you by giving you a code of some sort. They really should make this like WoW has.
I'm sick of seeing people complain about how easy raiding in WoW is. They rage about how they could reach very end game raiding with their eyes closed when they probably haven't even finished Naxx 10. Tank H ICC 25, put it on farm, then tell me how fucking easy it is.
Well i quit wow, and im not currently playing anything at all, but from what ive seen, Aion has crappy graphics, its way to anime like....the characters run like they have a dick in thier ass, and many others. Dont expect me to try it.

The first true contender to WoW. Amazing graphics and effects, even cutscenes. all my friends including me left WoW for this, and are all still there alive & kicking. the massive scale war is so damn epic. the biggest fights ive ever seen in a mmo is in aion. there are trials out there to get pm me if you want some
@MrTirien WoW should have been dead a long time ago. It's graphics look like they're from the 90's and it's story is crap. I don't see what makes people stick to it. It's not worth the money or the time, now AION on the other hand >.>
@MrTirien Aion sucks, it's a grindfest up to max level then there is shit endgame. That's why half the players who joined quit when they got to end game. Every person I knew who tried Aion quit within a month because it's boring as fuck. Just because a game has nice graphics and you have wings doesn't make it good.

Do what i did, I left WoW to play aion. And it was the best thing i could have done. Aion has everything WoW is missing. It has Awsome Effects/Amazing Graphics/Mechanics/PvP where you need skills! And Even Cutscenes! When you look at WoW after you played Aion. you see how old and Crappy WoW really is. Give Aion a try, And play a mmo thats not Easy mode like WoW :). Aion Forever!

Awsome Game! It has Cutscenes/Epic Effects/Epic Graphics and PvP where you actually need skills! Its not Easy Mode as WOW, which is a good thing. abit more Hardcore then most. Very good mmo indeed, the best out there

it isnt a asian grind game!!!! i hate people that call it that!! lol it has TONS of quests the give TONS of exp but... they make it really hard to lvl because you need at least like i think its more then 500k to get from 20-21 so.. they make it hard enough but that makes it fun!!

Im a former WoW player whose spending his free time over LOTRO, LOTRO is better than WoW for sure with all user friendly interface and quests.Its the casual gamers best choice and so for me since I hate those gaymers pulling dps meters out of his ass in every mob.
Aion sounds ok but sadly I heard that it has few quest and loads of grinding, plus limited flying (which sounds like a total letdown)
Not even mentioning that many characters look gay as hell like they are some emo clan members.
It sure sucks I have to play stupid games like WoW where the characters look disgustingly straight, I can't stand playing them. Thank god for a few good looking characters.

Vcxll, before Cataclysm comes out, they are bringing out Icecrown Citadel and we will get to fiht Arthas as the main boss, out of 14. So we will get to fight Arthas, don't worry lol.

WOW Cant stand how its great for awhile then everyone goes out and buys gold gets everything new and plays it for a while then they quit the game until the next expansion. funny. Aion online is going to give wow a run for the money as long as they keep a tight grip on people selling items and gold for money....thats every online games downfall.

Yea seriously there are only so many ideas and game mechanics that can be used until better game engines are developed. WoW used ideas from other MMOs, so I dont see what is wrong with Aion doing the same. Hell, I would gladly pay for a game that I know is an exact copy of the best games combined into one game. What is wrong with that? Im paying for it so I want to have the most fun possible.
Aion would show some promise if it weren't for the lack of gameplay depth (so far, I hope they change this), timesinks and cliche character/monster design. I really think developers of new MMORPGS should look at successful combat/game mechanics/crafting systems of games like Asheron's Call or even Runescape. All of these games don't employ timesinks to compensate for lack of depth. Hell, you're forced to wait even when you're doing tradeskills in Aion, and thats pretty sad.
What peeps are forgetting is that Aion ( Ncsoft ) and wow ( Blizzard ) are both companies. They do not aim to for satisfaction but for profit.
Hey if you where a company you would do the same thing :) And even do I'm a fanatic wow player. I disagree with the tards that yell "WOW COPY". Because Aion has a under water world, but wow is getting his in cataclysm.

Alot of people say its going to suck, but those are just the WoW fanboys soo it really dosn't matter. The game is amazing I played the beta's and enjoyed them, and for those who say its just a grind game... its fairly easy to reach lvl 50, and you have a choice between quests and just killing monster to lvl..

Do the long and hard Fenrils/Miragents chain quest to get all of the epic PvE armor set.
Once you get the last piece of the awesome PvE armor set, the credits will then come in and roll meaning that you have completed the game of Aion!

@Marobot and so sorry but i think the reason that people still play wow is becoz of their lvl and becoz of the freinds they made in wow. how ever, if you really think about it, i think wow isnt that great. and if your talking about graphic of wow, i am 100 percent sure that aion has better graphic lol. tekken = skill play, while wow = level play. if i were you i wouldnt compare them. oh and for tekken, they have STORY, while as wow, i dont give much about it since i think there isnt any story.

I kind of hate that theres no free trial outs for this game. Only a friend can invite you by giving you a code of some sort. They really should make this like WoW has.

The first true contender to WoW. Amazing graphics and effects, even cutscenes. all my friends including me left WoW for this, and are all still there alive & kicking. the massive scale war is so damn epic. the biggest fights ive ever seen in a mmo is in aion. there are trials out there to get pm me if you want some

the graphics are tremendousily good,
but i prefer wow's gameplay its much more simpler to lvl and the gear is much easier to get..

@MrTirien Aion sucks, it's a grindfest up to max level then there is shit endgame. That's why half the players who joined quit when they got to end game. Every person I knew who tried Aion quit within a month because it's boring as fuck. Just because a game has nice graphics and you have wings doesn't make it good.

Aion isnt even that bad for grinding, I know games that are 5 times worse than that. Im lvl 49 on my sorc. If you dont like the grind Spam instances thats what some ppl do lol. Do what i did, I left WoW to play aion. And it was the best thing i could have done. Aion has everything WoW is missing. It has Awsome Effects/Amazing Graphics/Mechanics/PvP where you need skills! And Even Cutscenes! When you look at WoW after you played Aion. you see how old and Crappy WoW really is. Give Aion a try, And play a mmo thats not Easy mode like WoW :). Aion Forever!

Awsome Game! It has Cutscenes/Epic Effects/Epic Graphics and PvP where you actually need skills! Its not Easy Mode as WOW, which is a good thing. abit more Hardcore then most. Very good mmo indeed, the best out there

it isnt a asian grind game!!!! i hate people that call it that!! lol it has TONS of quests the give TONS of exp but... they make it really hard to lvl because you need at least like i think its more then 500k to get from 20-21 so.. they make it hard enough but that makes it fun!!

Im a former WoW player whose spending his free time over LOTRO, LOTRO is better than WoW for sure with all user friendly interface and quests.Its the casual gamers best choice and so for me since I hate those gaymers pulling dps meters out of his ass in every mob.
Aion sounds ok but sadly I heard that it has few quest and loads of grinding, plus limited flying (which sounds like a total letdown)
Not even mentioning that many characters look gay as hell like they are some emo clan members.

In my oppinion Aion looks like a game, with a hell of alot better graphics than WoW, I am a current WoW user and I think it is pathetic, and about that faction change... 25 dollars? If they want people to stay instead of going to Aion they should lower their prices, 15 dollars to change your name... wow...

WOW Cant stand how its great for awhile then everyone goes out and buys gold gets everything new and plays it for a while then they quit the game until the next expansion. funny. Aion online is going to give wow a run for the money as long as they keep a tight grip on people selling items and gold for money....thats every online games downfall.

Yea seriously there are only so many ideas and game mechanics that can be used until better game engines are developed. WoW used ideas from other MMOs, so I dont see what is wrong with Aion doing the same. Hell, I would gladly pay for a game that I know is an exact copy of the best games combined into one game. What is wrong with that? Im paying for it so I want to have the most fun possible.

Aion would show some promise if it weren't for the lack of gameplay depth (so far, I hope they change this), timesinks and cliche character/monster design. I really think developers of new MMORPGS should look at successful combat/game mechanics/crafting systems of games like Asheron's Call or even Runescape. All of these games don't employ timesinks to compensate for lack of depth. Hell, you're forced to wait even when you're doing tradeskills in Aion, and thats pretty sad.

What peeps are forgetting is that Aion ( Ncsoft ) and wow ( Blizzard ) are both companies. They do not aim to for satisfaction but for profit.

The game is amazing I played the beta's and enjoyed them, and for those who say its just a grind game... its fairly easy to reach lvl 50, and you have a choice between quests and just killing monster to lvl..

You physically have to team to do a lot of questing. Also, I didn't have to grind once to reach beta limit of 30.
Also there are 1500+ quests, with ever more being added ever day up to the release.
If you remember correctly, WoW was in the exact same position when it was released.
