  • Shit bro got heavy ass weight on their. Good work.

  • thats me and my squat or your back

  • THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO DEADLIFTS, FAGGOT !!!!

  • You sound autistic in a lot of your commentary. Better tell your parents not to let you on the computer without your medication next time! :)

  • DIS IS HOW I SQUAT ;D

  • excellent form as always

  • GJDM! if i would try that i would fall str8 on my face!

  • Sheet Layne! Super strong! I can't even squat this weight properly!

  • gay

  • @gnarlybruzz indeed you are

  • @biolayne lmao

  • God damn.. Repping good mornings with my deadlift 1rm haha, nice work

  • wow you are very strong Layne. You inspire me

  • That looks like DPD555's gym (SERIOUS)

    does he still lift?

  • In-sayne Layne!

  • good mornings are the shizzle my nizzle :)

  • That is an extremely high level of training...I have only recently begun incorporating them and have a long road ahead of me. I know from reading articles from some of the greats that 300+lbs for reps as you have done will be required for this to have a significant impact on my pulling strength.

  • dammn your a beast! my inspiration for real!

  • Awesome. Im actually going to the gym in a few mins :D Nice 2 see updates from u :D

Btw. Ive tried to find Layne Norton: Unleashed... but i cant find it for purchase anywhere... I live in denmark, so no stores here have them. And i cant find a website that sells the movie :S

    could u help me out?:D

  • @darkerca you can order it direct from me through paypal. email dvdunleashed@gmail.com for details

  • solid form as usual layne.

  • Dude, you rock!

I wish you good luck with everything!

  • DO YOU DO THIS EXERCISE IN ACCESSORY TO THE BACK SQUAT?!! THAS FKCIN AMAZIN BRO, SHIT!!! Your GETTIN DOWN TO THE SCIENTIFIC FUNCTIONALITY OF ALL the parts of a full RANGE of motion of the back squat, in essence optimizing ur back squat through exercise accessory

  • are you wearing a belt? not trying to be an ass, but doesnt wearing a belt during good mornings kinda defeat its purpose?

  • @TerraRyzer no

  • no

  • @TerraRyzer oh totally, wearing a belt makes it feel like nothing, totally makes the exercise completely easy. never wear a belt on anything, because it totally makes that exercise worthless *rolleyes*

go try good mornings with 315 with a belt and tell me how it works out for you

  • jesus christ dude like i said i wasnt trying to be an ass, i was genuinely curious. youre the expert so i figured you would explain why a belt is okay. are all the other negative comments towards you getting to you or something? dont worry, still a huge fan though! ill just buy your next dvd for some great info so that way i dont bother you on youtube. thanks for your time at least

  • also, i can do 275 X 5 for good mornings so im not too far off from you =). i can send you a vid when my next hamstring/low back day comes around. i just wanted to know if wearing a belt through this particular exercise was beneficial or not, thats all.

  • @biolayne Layne does it count if i weigh 315 pounds and I wear a belt and bend over?

  • @biolayne ...Good vid... try extending your hips out a little more when you come up to the top of your movement.

  • gnarly as always.

what's your bodyweight at now Layne?

  • I need to start doing GOOD MORNINGS ON my lower body power days as my auxiliary exercise :D

  • nice job man! nobody does these anymore, everybody gets beta when they see some hardcore lifting

  • Great lifts! Good morning have literally added more to my deadlift than deadlifting!

  • @altrocksnp OHHH SHITTTT!! so in that sense its the king of accessory coumpound exerices, CUZ its an accessory to 2 major compund lifts which are the BAck squat and DEADLIFT, SOME crazi ish bro! GO SPREAD THA ISH BRO!< GOOD MORNING! preach on ma brother!

  • @dino262o LOL, if that was a serious response, thanks? I guess. If not, then read this:

My weak point was and still is back, glute, and hamstring strength. Good Mornings make those areas stronger by targeting them more, thus, stronger deadlift and squat.

They may not increase someone elses lifts like they did mine because other people can have different weak points.

  • to hell with calling 315 good mornings.. those should be called 24/7's.. 315 damn

  • do good mornings improve your squat or something?

  • that doesn't look like a safe movement. i cant watch this, i feel like something is gonna break

  • @tcsurvivor03 great. don't watch then

  • @biolayne did my comment piss you off? i meant no offense or insult.

  • @tcsurvivor03 the only thing breaking is your face if you continue to post stupid comments like that

  • @mrmurda are you having a roid rage? are you so unhappy that you have to go around threatening and bullying people on youtube comments? my comment was simply my reaction to what i thought my body would feel like doing that movement which ive never seen anyone do. i dont know if you replied to the wrong comment or if you're just so full of anger and rage that its just overflowing.

  • @tcsurvivor03 Oh god!

  • @tcsurvivor03 not really. If you don't like watching it than don't watch. No 'rage' lol. Just commenting on your comment. You seem to be the one that is upset

  • @tcsurvivor03 You have never seen someone do a good morning? How did you even find this video then? If you have an interest in weight lifting you should know what a good morning is. Unless you are completely new to weight lifting. In which case should keep quiet and try to learn as much as possible.

  • @chriswatkinsdotcom

    U mad? Nut up chump.

  • Haha too funny. "Those are some weird squats bro". Good sets.

  • Dam you have a solid lower back

  • nice man. do you still deadlift a lot? or have you backed off deadlifts a little

  • these are not traditional back squats, more like a variation of a squat, it looks intricate thou and like it would work, doesn't seem to hit quads as much thou but better for glutes, lower back and hams(predominantly lower back and glutes). Am I right ? Layne can you explain to me the focus of development for this exercise as opposed to regular back squats (where one breaks at the knees more). And how often do you perform this exercise as compared to the traditional back squat?

  • @dino262o they are good mornings dude :)

  • @dino262o wow you truly are an idiot are you

  • this is good mornings, right?

  • @enkroning yes

  • Layne, do you have any tips for glut ham raises? I have to use a lat pulldown machine with that lat pulldown seat when I do them cause I don't have the equipment at my gym.

If I can't do one complete one ...should I work on other muscles to accomplish that 1 rep or should I just keep doing them until I can ?

  • @joekimusic just do slow negatives until you can do one unassisted

  • beast
