  • like the sound effects

  • that video is from the gypsy moths+

  • I jumped the round 28' 7TU's in the early 80's and they are HEAVY and the opening is not a lot of fun. The modern RamAir chutes are so much lighter, easier opening, and it does not take much still to get on target like the old chutes, where the exit point and opening was key to landing on target.

  • @weaponeer Yeah...I got pretty good at crabbing the windline under a round with Double Ls, and working it thard o get into the peas...because if you didn't, it wasn't as nice a landing, even with the PLF.

  • good damn it...i would give a lot to jump a round only one time.

btw wtf is that white powder and that bang on opening?

    (just special effects or what)

  • Talcum powder. It was meant to reduce canopy burn but always looked spectacular.

  • The bang was just dubbed in by the movie makers -- no louder on opening than a ram air. But the white powder was an old trick on demonstration jumps. Sprinkle in some French chalk dust all over the canopy before the sleeve was pulled on and the spectators on the ground got a bit extra for their buck.

  • @punisher17011990 im gonna jump a round canopy this october maybe :D i know a guy wich owns a paracommander and hes a good friend of mine :):):):):) im so happy :D

  • why are round parachutes that i sew poor?

and good round chutes so anti-pendel?(pendelfree)

  • Why they have 2 pilot chutes??? pls answer.

  • Twin pilot chutes were intended to reduce the chances of a pilot chute hesitation.
