I'm located in victoria australia, So anyone advice would help. Also! Whats the best encouragement to use when training? And how can i teach him to come when called, Please anyone help (:
@jacobskux Use positive reinforcement when you train these dogs. Don't use pain as punishment because their pain tolerance is very high. My Amstaff is now almost two years old and he does everything for a dog snack. You can teach them anything, as long as you reward them when they do a good job. These dogs are very eager to please, but when the dog goes through puberty, he won't listen that well, I've experienced that first hand, too. Just keep things positive with the dog, then you'll be OK.
