  • Awh stay warm, you are so nice, thanks so much for these tutorials x

  • That's gorgeous, love your videos, am learning so much from them!

  • What in your opinion is the best brand for white paint? I'm just getting started with facepainting, and for now, Snazaroo is sufficient, EXCEPT for white. I need something with more payoff. Thanks for your help!

  • @MyWordsofLove6 Diamond FX is the best, with Wolfe being a close second! :)

  • this is quite beautiful, im so using this for our christmas place

  • Gorgeous!! realy love this design!!!

  • wow your amazing !!! cant wait to watch your other videos !

  • being a 60 yr young face painter, balloon artist and bubbleologist,,I just love the excitment of the kids,,BUT the dang butterflies give me a pain,,I practice on a maniquin head, myself and my husband, scary ones for him, I mastered the scorpion, shark, and sometimes my grandchildren. my best are spiderman, pirate, puppy dog etc etc..but I feel bad when my butterfly looks like it needs surgery,,but I keep plugging along..thanks for all the inspiration.

  • one more question,,do you ever use Wolfe bros. if not, why,,I use it because thats really all I can get other than snazzaroo and they are nasty to use...

  • @sandrina2000 I do use Wolfe brothers. It's VERY similar to DFX and works just as well.

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT and even my 11 year old boy was impressed with my unicorn after watching that video. I agree, you are so talented and generous! Thanks again Lisa!

  • WOW!!!! This was goregeous, and the glitter just put it over the top!! I love it, you are an amazing artist! What was the size of the last brush you used to make dots?

  • So loved this video!! I wondered though, we didnt see you rub the sponge on the white paint after you had put the 2 different blues on it, does it not leave your white paint messed up with blue now?

  • @thekilpatrickcompany Nope. All you need to do is take a wet wipe, wipe off the surface of the paint with it, and the white will be good as new (no trace of blue at all). Don't ever be afraid to mix your paints right on the surface of your cakes. They're super easy to clean and it won't mess them up at all :)

  • Beautiful Lisa!! As usual!!

  • Hi, i just now discovered your videos and I'm so impressed.

would you be able to do a tutorial on painting teardrops?

  • @GlobalGal4ever Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. I might do a teardrop tutorial sometime, but these two youtubers have already done some really great teardrop tutorials on their channels. Check them out:

  • @lisajoyyoung Thank you so much i checked out the videos and they were very helpful.

I was also practicing with the Wolfe paints I have and found that they were very hard to wash off, did you have a similar experience with them? If so what other brand would you recommend so that this wont be an issue?

    Thanks so much.

  • I also love your video's Lisa......you're very creative and talented! OH, and congrats on your "bun in the oves!" I saw it posted on FPF!! :) Happy painting!!

  • @PegLeg2702 Thank you so much! Since it's been such a long time since we've last had a baby, we are so excited about this new little one!

  • this is an absolutely gorgeous look! awesome job! i love it =)

  • I know I'm not the only one so I shall yell at the top of my youtube voice L I S A J O Y Y O U N G IS AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND GENEROUS! Thank you Lisa, once again, for posting yet another fantastic video! I can't get enough of them and like others have said you are inspiring others, like myself to face paint. I volunteered at my child's kinder yesterday - first time ever for me after practicing for 4 or so months, and the kids and parents loved their designs (some yours). THANK YOU!

  • @Montse3070 Thank you so much for such a sweet comment! I think I really do have the nicest, most supportive viewers on youtube! :)

  • Gorgreous work, fantastic attention to detail.

  • @joannadelilah You're so sweet, thank you! :) xoxo

  • I borrowed your design .. :o) .. but did a metallic green instead and also added red dots along with the white to give it a Christmas touch. Thank you again for sharing your designs. I just started to give face painting a try and I am enjoying it so much. Your tutorials and videos are really helpful.

  • @madamebootyfly I love your idea of changing the colors to make it more of a Christmas design! I'll have to try that! :)

  • Beautiful! Thanks for posting! More videos please! :)

  • @tita1m You're welcome! :)

  • I love it..

  • I LOVE IT! :o) Thank you for sharing!

  • Lisa, perfect! I'm at a holiday festival right now, this will be great. Thank you

  • @annedunlap I'm so glad you like it!

  • Lovely, I am finding your videos very inspiring Lisa. For this one, it is a shame we are heading for Summer in Australia so might have to wait a while to use it :)

  • @cazan99 I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos! Hopefully, you can use the design when winter comes along for you again :)

  • @cazan99 Hi . . I'm in Australia too - I think this would still work for a Xmas design because as you know we Aussies still have the whole "snow Xmas" thing around us . . . . even though it's 38C here! Also, I would try using other Xmas Colours with the same fantastic design. I LOVE IT!

It is wrong that I just jump up and down for joy each time Lisa posts a new video? I just can't get enough of her wonderful designs and her tutorials are great teaching tools . . she is AMAZING!

  • I really like this winter mask!

thanks a lot for your tutorials.

    xoxo

  • Hi Lisa, love that beautiful winter design. Would love to use it, but might have to make a quick version of it. Maybe to just one side of the face, or with fewer colours. I have a metallic blue which would work really well. Anyway brilliant design as usual, keep them coming. Loved your Halloween quick design video. Sarah x

  • @sarahgranville An eye design on one side of the face would be a great way to quicken up this design! Glad you liked the video!

  • that is reaaaaaally pretty!!!

  • really pretty

  • Thats so pretty! Great job and I love your videos!

  • @gymrat720 Thank you! I'm so glad you like them!
