  • Love this song! The speed is so 80s!! You gotta be from LA to understand.

  • AWESOME CLASSIC IN THE NYC... hey Alvin can you please change the RPMS?

  • This has to be a joke even though I know it's not-no one above the age of 5 is down with the chimpmunks version played at the wrong speed...at the original speed this is CLASSIC NYC 1982 production/underground...hearing this at correct speed u r inevitably transported back to the floor of the "G", with the world's best soundsystem and Larry pumpin it . Or the streets and parks of NYC, via huge boxes tuned to KISS and WBLS FM and "extended commercial-free music sweeps". This sounds ridiculous.

  • Dunno, man, I was a DJ in the 80's at a Manhattan club and I never heard anyone ever do this. I mean, sure play it any way you want, but I can pretty much guarantee no major club jock did something like this in the 80's.

  • @hardcorehouse Agreed bro. I never heard anything like this.

  • @ralphmerced Have you heard of HIGH ENERGY? This was played as such in many clubs in L.A.. If you or anybody else dont like it, Go fuck yourselves. Its my record, and i will play it however the fuck I please!

  • @Daddybopper I Agree with you, Dj's from L. A. used to play it this fast and also songs like:

CALLING ALL BOYS, PASSION, I NEED LOVE, and many more...

  • @ClaudyoT Exactly, The idiot that commented on this probably break dance or slow danced to it. L.A. gave birth to High Energy. All the bitches went crazy for high energy dancers.

  • tweak

  • LOL .. at them Hi-NRG haters, that is how it was done back in the day at real clubs in L.A. when these tunes came out, and yes we did dance to this at this speed, it was wig out fun, carefree and you just let go on the dancefloor, almost trance like I may add.

  • I was a little kid in Los Angeles back in the 80's and I would hear some disco-biscuit teenagers play MixTapes of songs played at 45rpm.... well I thought it sounded retarded back then and I still do!

Were kids doing meth in the mid 80's?

I remember going to a friend's house who's older teenage brother was a DJ and he was playing songs that I recognized but they sounded like The Chpmunks!

That was the same nonsense as Screw MixTapes in the mid 90's!

It allways has to be the drug additcs, lol!

  • Help needed:

In the late 80´s there was a re-mix of (E.T phone home) tune we used to break dance too. The tunes in my head constantly but i can´t remember the title/artist.

  • Yo Dizzygit, the song you're looking for is the classic

    "E.T. Boogie" - Extra T's - 1982 - Sunnyview Records.

It was sampled in "Dangerous" - Busta Rhymes -1997

  • @DJDAMIAN72, you my friend are a life saver. that tunes been buggin my brain for years just couldn´t remember the name or find it. What made things worse is when i hear it in Bustas tune, that just made it even worse. iou1...thanks ;)

  • I did something simular one time back in 74 and it turned out bad. I played a 45 rpm of soul makoosa by manu dibango at 33 rpm and one of the girls at the party tried to run out through a closed door. because it bugged her out. It was crazy.

  • Oh.. I use to do that all the time back in Chicago. Put bottom track under to bring back the real thump. Miss you RON

  • duhhhhhhhhhhh lollll too funny

he wasnt born in the 70 or 80s?

  • Hi Nrg=Bllsht

  • u couldnt say it better lolll ;) play the fkn right speed tweaker... lol

  • its at the perfect speed...thx, wish "change of life" was at this speed....this is a cool song to throw those mean disco movidas!!!

  • People have to learn to read the information window below my picture and understand the reason why its played at a higher speed. Then people can post a stupid comment.

  • Whats your fuckin problem, Asshole? If you dont like it, Dont listen to it.

  • Not only proto - club - house -soul music in "WalkingOn Sunshine". But proto late 80s / early 90s Acid Jazz in this remix too.

I was 8 years old and this was the best thing I'd heard for years.

  • Do you know what HI-NRG is??

  • Thank you for uploading this speeded up version.

This version is HiNRG at its best!

  • it's time to up a real version

  • pass the pills!

  • I feel like I'm playing ninja gaiden.

  • the t-bird roller drom i remeber like it was yesterday on tuesday or wensday or sometimes both! mostly Gino's II in HollyWood
