  • Ok, so in conclusion, yes: Lalo only wrote the main theme. But actually, Jack Wall organized the composition while the original sourced sound for the music was composed by Marc Lessard and Guy Dubuc (aka Bob & Bill).

I'm not some obsessive trivia hoarder. I just love music and figure others might be interested in this sort of information too. Hope I helped. :3

  • Omg I miss this so much, Me and My buddy MOZZIE 66 (a long lost friend from XBL) used to play this all the time

  • @Pductions ohh the long lost friends from xbox live.. they hold a place in all our hearts

  • one of my favorite games. playin mercenary vs spies on xbox live was so fun

  • listening to this reminds me of sitting in a mulitiplayer lobby waiting for some people to join

  • ich liebe splinter cell ich hab schon alle durch gezockt

  • This reminds me of sitting in the Multiplayer Lobby at 2am waiting for one of the 16 people online to join.

  • @issareign lol dude i wrote this same comment pretty much and right as i hit post i look and see this haha. Did you play it for Xbox?

  • I put this song on a hotkey on TF2 whenever I'm in 2fort and playing as a spy. Right at the enemy intel room I always play this song to get into the feel of patience and stealth...

  • @CootPrankCalls You dare mention Team Fortress 2?

  • @bloodcousins101 problem, officer?

  • @CootPrankCalls No Sir. Just saying that not alot of people mention other games on Splinter Cell Related videos.

  • @bloodcousins101 Well, I was relating it to the same aspect of stealth.

  • Muy bueno, es un sonido intimidante, para ponerlo en video de suspenso :D

  • Tension creeping...

  • So nicely sinister ;-)

  • This is best splinter cell from all! Everything is perfect = characters, soundtrack, story, gameplay = simply awesome!

  • I find it nothing less than amazing that Lalo Schifrin wrote the music for this game. The man is a legend, and the fact that he chose to lend his talents to such a great game is awe-inspiring to me.

  • this music is VERY GOOD so WELL DONE

  • This music played when Sam infiltrated L.A.X.

  • Love this soundtrack. This music is very mystic and very cool. Whenever I start this game on the PS2 or PC, I begin to feel the experience of stealth. Also, starting from 1:02, I love listening to it when the game loads a level on PS2.

  • i miss this game,i had a lot of fun

  • This game had the one of the best multiplayers ever, and this music brings back all the memories. Ahh :)

  • best mystic theme of the videogame world.

  • Not long left now boys and girls....Splinter Cell Conviction out in less than 6 days now.

  • I love this tense ambiant espionage music in this game. Quiet level, dark foggy wet night, something is going down. *shudder*

  • best game everrr

this game remind me my happy past =D . . .

  • Very nostalgic. This was my first Splinter Cell game, back when it came out. I never got to play the multiplayer for this, and the single player is my least favorite out of the main 5 console games, but I still like it. Got into the series right away! Can't wait for conviction!

  • This is very similar to LAX track

  • You mean LAX track is very similar to this, this is the main game menu track, LAX is the last level.

  • Um no, it doesn't matter which one is similar to which first, and wow, jesus, i didn't know where this track is from (sarcasm).

  • I remeber seeing this on X-Play and then going to buy it the same day . Best 10$ I ever spent.

  • I loved this game at the time, but I can't get as much enjoyment from replaying it after Ct and Double agent.

    The main reason?

    No knife.

Something just feels missing when you can't sneak up on a guard, grab him in that badass wristlock, and hold the knife up to his throat -or just shank his ass.

Anyone think this is a stupid reason to prefer one great game over another?

  • No , I dont. I was thinking the same thing (sorta). I thought that Double Agent and Chaos Theroy were not as enjoyable was: The Trust System (Double Agent) and the freedom (Chaos Theroy) it wasnt a bad thing about the freedom , but I prefore having a line somewere. Hell! i got 0% on the South Korea : Battery level.

  • no man thats right i also miss the knife with pandora tommorow

but pandora has a great storyline

  • Love that song! remembers me of coming not further in the last level when you need to zoom in with your spyglass on the 3 'end bosses', and I alway spyed with the weaponzoom which didn't worked! XD

  • very nostalgic.

  • i miss 2006 :( that song holds many memories of late night splintercell playing , my buddy s lmao, the room is hot and stuffy, the ceiling fan is over speeding, the toilets overflowing, moms banging on the wall to turn the sound down,we cant beat a sertain level, were all hot sweaty and determined to beat the level, then we look at the clock and its 4:00 am! i miss those days as a young teen...

  • yeah man, me too...

  • @OsanBlackCat5RS fuckn A bro. hahahahahaha! those were the days. im glad i still have my ps2 and it still works. but it isnt the same anymore.

  • ilove this song

  • Solid soundtrack, I love the eerieness of it. Makes you feel the delicious tension.

  • Splinter Cell series is the best action pack ever. I look back and the first two were awesome but Chaos and DA were best in spy tactics and storyline music is epic

  • If you are interested in who wrote this music, it was Lalo Schifrin.

  • @EndoliteMatrix Lalo Schifrin wrote the Pandora Tomorrow music. Amon Tobin worked on Chaos Theory.

  • @RescoeZ hey thanks for upload to remember a classic game like this keep uploading old school theme. Peace ^_^

  • @RescoeZ thank you for the correction!

  • @RescoeZ it was Jack Wall...

  • @ClankytheGorn Yeah someone on one of these other vids said that. At the time I uploaded these I thought it was Schifrin. I know he was involved in it somehow.

  • @RescoeZ I'm confused. There's a Behind The Scenes video of Lalo conducting the suspicion part of the embassy mission, but according to the internet, he only composed this menu music. @_@

  • @damatohead He only did the menu music. Jack Wall of Mass Effect fame did the rest.

  • @RescoeZ Yeah, well now that I think about it, they're basically both the same music just played differently.

  • i listened to this music SOOO MUCH in the multilayer menu... never failed to make me think about sneaking around somewhere XD

  • The Pandora Tomorrow music never let me go. I loved the SCCT music, but the SCPT music will always be the official Splinter Cell theme for me.=)

Best soundtracks for me from SCPT would be the Menu and LAX final.

  • where did ya get tis music?

  • "Alright,i won't kill him next time"

  • hheeheheh i know what you mean^^

  • Although this game wasn't that great (I much preferred MGS) - This soundtrack still brings back some good memories. I played this for around 3 months back in mid 2005. :)

  • lol played it in vacation in '04

  • scpt was my first online gaming experience!

  • cool piece of music

  • Fucking rox!

  • best game everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    ya
