Last time I played this I was 7, and I didn't have internet access and I kinda failed at figuring out what to do. so nice to be able to see this game through, even without playing it (I rented the game from a video store that closed)

@vixenwithninetails i went into game at my local shopping mall and they had it in the preowned section of the store. it was actually a good price since it was only £4.95 i would reccomend that you look through the preowned section thoughroughly :)

when i was a kid i played this game and couldnt even get past the fourth level, but i had a blast.

When I was a kid and I played this game I would spend forever dinking around this level.  The later levels scared me too much.

I have this pal on my dreamcast, iv got 2 chipped jap dreamcasts and a pal one, this game is a masterpiece, the "2D" gameplay levels where nicely mixed in as a nice surprise for me, it brought back the classic feeling of the genesis days, superb game

I never could play Ecco since i'm petrified of sharks and the ocean/sea in general. Even the Sega version. Sad, i know. I blame Jaws.

@dwyabam Hmmmm, since this is actually a pretty frustrating and difficult game, I can't quite agree with that comment. :D It is rather beautiful though, especially the first chapter, and the soundtrack is pretty great. Some interesting design work in the later stages, the style is very colourful and alien-looking, in a way you rarely see in modern games.
