Soames is not entirely evil, I do pity him. But his "love" was possessive and selfish and cruel; I've always symphatized Irene. And somehow recognized myself in her character.

@ericnowcool1 I could be wrong, but rape is not an acceptable manifestation of love. You can love and not to be loved in return, this is part of life and nothing that justify persecution. The object of your love can be the very devil himself/herself (I find Irene's is not the case, but it's just an opinion of mine), and you are not allowed to act like this anyway. That's all.

@ericnowcool1 Yes, Irene was a bitch (and I'm a feminist). But Soames needed to muster up some dignity sooner and let it go. He wasted years of his life persuing someone who hated his guts, and the spousal rape was disgusting...But I did indeed feel sympathy for Soames...The divorce policy of those times was screwed up...And for all those people who don't believe in no fault divorce, look at what the alternative is. People feeling desperate and trapped.

Enchanting video! Liked it very much, and the music suits perfectly. And I must say that Lewis' performance in this is some of the best acting I've ever seen. You really hate him, and yet you feel sorry for him. Poor Soames...

It is called a river flows in you by Yiruma - but this is some talented person's cover of it. I've always liked the song but it has become more popular recently because Twilight fans have claimed it as Bella's lullaby (- unofficially - it isn't the song that was used in the film.) .... but I just like the song!!!
