  • how much was your tank?

  • whats with all the fuss, medioker at best

  • @12HENSON12

Why do you post negative comments on everyones tanks?

Your tank chill but its not leaps and bounds above all the other tanks on youtube.

Not trying to hate but I think this a pretty decent nano reef.

  • omg, i am so doing this now....

  • i just started a 10 gallon saltwater and was wondering what lighting you are using

  • Comment removed

  • hey whats a good anemonoe for a ten 10 gallon I want my clownfish to host it.

  • @HamstersRule502 There are two kinds of hermit crabs. Land crabs and marine hermit crabs. One guess as to which one those are :P As long as you get the right kind of crab, you should be fine :)

  • This is a shitty song, however, the tank is the shit. I am envious of your aquatic skills.

  • HOLY SHIT! I FOUND NEMO!

  • @SizzlinNinja The most original comment I've seen in all the fishtank videos on youtube,

    Good job

  • Thats amazing, weldone mate

  • thats not a 10 gallon lol

  • awesome tanK!

  • Beautiful tank, and great song choice

  • beautiful tank reguadless on the size, I have a 30g and want bigger but not in a rush because my 30g satisfy my needs....Good job..check out my vid on my tank

  • this tank is literally my dream!!! yesterday i started to plan my 10 gallon nano reef and its almost identical! any suggestions on anything really? i do want clown fish. (two of them). and also advice as to filtering. im new to saltwater.

  • Looks way bigger than 10 gal, plus I'm guessing you got sump too? Whats the water capacity?

  • nice aquarium!! How did you do it? any ideas can you share?

  • Why would you spent all that money and effort on a 10gl tank? Why not get a bigger one ?

  • @Assassin0328 well two reason come to mind in my case i cant have a bigger tank because its a hastle to move and i live in an apartment that has limitations and reason 2 could be just for fun its not always "bigger is better" attitude

  • Good job!!

  • what brand are these tanks please send us a link?

  • beautiful!!! enough said

  • that fish is spoiled... xD

  • Thats what Im going for

    sweet set up bud=)

  • i have a question im new to the hobby and this is my question will an internal sponge filter with powerhead work on a pico reef

  • i heard it is very hard to do a 10 gallon salt tank. but if you have the experience it can be really fun

  • wow, that looks like it is more then a 10 gallon fish tank!

  • nemo!

  • Looks like nothing but a success, I was wondering. Are refugiums required for a ten gallon?

  • @BlueTyler10 no

  • wow how much did that cost?

  • perfect set up for a 10gal. very nice

  • stunning pulsing xenia

  • wow i love this, im hopeing to get my salt water tank set up by friday!!!! its still fresh water possibly thurs. but ya, any tips let me know any1!!!

  • honestly such a beautiful tank

  • cool tank!!. check out mine search isxsnipe its called my healthy 10 gallon fish tank. its my first tank thanks anyone can watch.

  • This video right here is what inspired me to get my 46 gallon reef system. (on my channel) After watching this video I went to Petco and my love for reef systems started. Thank you

  • wow!

  • ....I think your tank looks beautiful but id say way too small even for your clown fish....plus clown fish are better in pairs.I own a 50 gallon marine tank and i love watching them swim freely in and out of the live rocks....Im not knocking your tank it is highly beautiful butis it fair to your fish? Invest in a bigger tank and see the benefits it will have onyour marine life!

  • that i a beautiful fish tank, i have alwas wanted salt water. What kind of filter are you running? i was thinking of just getting a regular fresh water 30-40 gallon filter.

  • awesome... I think I might do the same

  • put another fishy with that one

  • @mckricks1 the bioload of two fish in a 10g would kill his sps

  • I like how you organized the corals so it could fit in the 10gallon tank, and it doesn't look that crowded :D

  • the beauty of this tank dominates bigger tank XD

  • That a very nice tank u have. See my vid also.

  • thats really cool, i want to get in mine some live rock now, chek mine 10 gallon to.

  • What kind of filtration system did/do you have on this tank?

  • Hey Guys! I know you may be hating me for this but I couldln't really find any other way so here I go! If you like these videos then be sure to hop on over to my channel for more aquarium videos and more are on the way! • i think that nemo is kidda lonlyby himesilf if i wear you i would buy a nother nemo just to be safe

  • HOLY CROP THIS IS SOOOOO COOOOL!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D HOW MUCH DID ALL O THIS COST!!!!XD

  • that is such a cool fish tank. Nice choice of fish :)

  • how much was it i wanna have one just like it what kind of tank was it?

i haVE A FRESH WATER AND ITS SO PRETTY AND I was just planning to get another tank but now i really want a salt tank

  • hi i a wondering if a T5 Aquarium Lights 6 x 24w will be ok on a 10 gallan tank Thanks

  • @bigfish324 Yes, that will be more than enough. you could even use just 2 bulbs and be perfect. but 6 is awesome.

  • what kind of overflow are you using? thanks

  • i know reef tanks dont need to be as big as other saltwater tanks but how did you get this to stabilize, then STAY that way so your fish do die

  • @ekham1 The key to keeping a small reef stable is keeping your parameters as close to perfect as possible. Since things ie temp./salinity/ph change so quickly with so little water you have to be very careful. The temp. is very important for fish ich takes hold even after a few degree water temp. change.

  • personally i thnk small reef tanks look so much better than larger ones

  • nice tank, i wanna start a saltwater tank wit my 10 gallon i dont use, with fish obviously, and live rock and sand, could i jus use a aquaclear filter and heater and light, and powerhead??

  • @MONKEYfists100

yup, most filters are made for fresh and salt water. Just put a small power head and maybe a small protein skimmer, heater, but maybe a special kind of light because regular fish tank lights might not be good for corals.

  • poor fish;(

  • what light u got

  • Saltwater tanks can be difficult in their own way different from FW. Once you've got the basics down it is fairly easy. There is alot more aspects to look at though.

  • is that really a 10 gallon lol it looks bigger

  • amazing tank! goes well with the song

  • Nice little tank! Good job. Great song too!

  • wow this tank looks great. you have so much coral in there if i were you upgrade to a 20 high. not because the 10s to small, but cuz you could with all that coral lol.

  • @iwimp1994 u never set up a coral tank in a 20 high, the light penatration will suffer greatly towards the bottom of the tank.

  • Comment removed

  • @nutin2du oops on last comment, yes that's true my bad.

  • Gorgeous!!! We also have a 10G just starting out, about how long did it take before your tank really started flourishing?

  • nice tank, but keeping a clownfish in this size of tank is cruel...

  • the clown looks perfectly happy and healthy

  • what tank is that?

  • Nice tank! Saltwater has always been too hard for me to manage:P

  • i wish i had that!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice, have a look at my tank. let me kno wat ya think..

  • how many watts is your light? please let me know! thanks, love the tank! =)

  • aquarium salt i think

ps its usaly 2 $ each where i live

  • Great job..... Great job on your tank bro.

  • ahh i love saltwater fish

  • THATS A 10 GALLON!?

  • they look bigger on camera

  • @jamesschneider2010 I believe 20 minimum

  • @jamesschneider2010 there is no way that is 10 gallons we have had a nano at it is 25 gallon and doesn tlook that big at all

  • @jamesschneider2010

    GOOGLE Goddamnit!

  • @jamesschneider2010

In the videos that I have watched on 10 gallon Saltwater Aquariums, they do tend to look larger then a ten gallon once they are on video(:

  • Very beautiful....just ready now to upgrade to a bigger size reef like yours...ha I only have a 3 gallon nano. Your tank gave me many ideas. again very beautiful.

  • what do you mean xxmusicxequalsxxlife?

  • I think xxmusicxequalsxxlife is just reciting common knowledge. The amount of live rock per water mass is imply a reccomendation for biological filtration purposes. Considering Nemo is the only fish in the tank, this person has more than enough Bio-Fil for his tank. And as we can all see it is a very healthy reef system

  • this tank looks masive compared to my 30 gallon lol

  • u don't need a over flow filter... tank is 10 gallon ... with 1 fish dude... but it's stll good just saying you dont need it im not saying dont put it just saying you dont need it nice tank,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,....#:)

  • Hey that tank is amaizing, check out my tank vid.

  • Thats a beautiful 10g salt...didnt know it could look this good in such a small size

  • beautiful. the song makes the vid, too.

  • Away from the sun - 3 doors down

  • watch that fish cause he is plotting an escape...

  • what song is this?

  • stunning

  • wow thats impressive...

  • still cheaper then a huge 150 gallon reef

  • thanks for sharing

  • goood work man! looks healthy ! keep up the good work 5/5!

  • I always had freshwater tanks and now I want to start a saltwater one, I heard that is needed 1lb of reef per gallon of water, why is that for?

  • You need a least 1 pound of live rock (lr) per gallon. If thats what you mean by reef. I would go for 1.5 pounds per gallon. This is for biological filteration. Please research fully before starting a reef tank please!

  • Hello there, beautifull work mate!! What kind of light hood do you use (Watts per Gal.) Trying to find a good one for my 10 gal. Also what song is that?

    Nice job!

  • What kind of filter and lighting do you use?

  • It looks really good, the xenia and the candy canes, as well as the orange zoas(blastos?). One suggestion. sps corals usually don't do to well in smaller tanks, they like pretty high intensity lighting. yours look perfectly healthy, but depending on your lighting, they may have some problems in the future. anyway great tank man i like it :)

  • Nice tank! Do you think a Tomato Clown would grow too big for a 10g?

  • swpotf2, a tomato clown would be fine in a 10 gallon for a little while, but they are known to grow pretty quickly and i've seen some pretty agressive ones, so yeah its safe to say that it would definitely grow out of a 10 gallon within a year

  • its doing great now..since there qasnt much in it..i started over...and am now using distilled water

  • no? ive talked to people who have 110 wats on their 10 gallon dude...ur the inexperienced one...i already have a 38 gallon fresh...and a 200 gallon salt....dude go read a boook

  • yo dude its so nice it loks like a 20

  • i have a very strong light ( 96 watts) and im having a problem with algae.....its growing on everything, rocks, glass ect. i cant put any corals in my 10 gallon tank because the algae will kill it. i am looking for Coraline algae but not this green algae. id like to hear from your guys on how to get rid of it . i've heard you need to do water changes ...ive done 1 each week 2gallons outa 10g ....it is STILL growing. please give me recommendations of filtration /methods of getting rid of it!

  • try a snail

  • Are you using tap water?

  • GREAT TANK!!! Looks beautiful

  • How do you keep a reef in a 10-gallon tank?? I never managed to do that successfully!

  • how much did this cost u? i am now cycling my 10 gallon salt tank i need to no a cost of the corals and live rock.

    thanks

  • real nice. this is wat i wanted...but its just too much money. guess u got it man. nice tank. and im glad u didnt overload it with fish because each clownfish needs about 10 to 20 gallons of water. so good shit.

  • This is beautiful man simply beautiful!

  • this is the best 10 gallon reef tank ive seen, this probably cost a thousand, i want my tank lots of corals, but just a 2 inch coral cost $100 theres no below 50 coral here in alaska...so expensive,

  • Order your live corals online, It would be cheap for you in Alaska

  • cool tak check out mine

  • GREAT TANK

  • that nemo fish is very happy.....:)

  • only one fish?

  • What lights are you running? Looks like its a MH. Can you post it :P?

BTW your tank is amazing!!! I took a look at your thread and you havent posted in forever, hope this tank is still up and running!

  • u make the fish feel at home and the marine hermit crab

  • You got a lot of stuff going on in such a small tank... It looks great :)

  • i live by the ocean does anyone know if i can just take llive coral and anenomes and sand an just put it all in an aquarium

  • you could but it would be harder to maintain them and get then tank liveable but its possible

  • Do you add any supplements for the shrimp? mine keep dying and i'm trying to figure out why any help appreciated!! thanks:)

  • nice tank, the song is perfect for this

  • I got a lighting from a friend and I'm not sure what kind of lighting a 10-20 gallon salt water tank needs?

    The lighting back is labeled:

    Rating 120 volt, 60Hz, 17 watts

And it also has a little canister i can pull out its labeled:

    "FS-U Starter with condenser

    4. 6. 8. 14. 15. 20W" UL???

  • mmmm..............Too small for a 5-8 gallon

  • To get the real liverock, and the anenomenes, you ahve to shop somewhere besides walmart.

  • dude what i dont understand is how to get those anemones and how you get like that big rock instead of putting fake things

  • You get anemones by buying it from a store.

and those "big rocks" are live rock used for filtration of salt water tanks getting fake live rock would not help.

  • how much was the light?

  • You can probably find it for about 200-300$ USD now

  • what is the purple stuff on the glass surrounding the tank a have never seen that before?

  • coralline algae

  • coraline algae

  • @SG25 clowns need 15 - 30 gallon tanks depending on type.

  • :0)

  • what kinda soft corals should i NOT and can have with a 15w light in a 10 gallon--------------what kinda of soft corals should i NOT and can have with a 45w light in a 10 gallon.......debating on weather or not to get a 15w (standerd lighting) or buy a 45w light ( the tank is guna be pretty much 98% soft corals if not 100%)

  • its good to have anywhere from 3-5 watts per gallon, if ur hood on ur 10 has a place for two screw in light go with two 50/50 20 wat lights. i have that on one of my ten and everythings working perfectly. They shouldnt b more then $20 each and there worth it.

  • i went ahead and got a 96 watt=]

  • please respond asap-- what lighting would u recomend for a 10 gallon ..mainly soft coral reef

    (watt, brand, ect..)

  • thats a pretty bitchin 10 gal tank if i do say so myself

  • i agree, its a great little nano

  • nice setup. wish your clown fish had a friend.

  • watch my 10 gallon tank video

  • Question why only one Nemo, why you didn't find him a girl.

  • lol all little "nemos" are dudes, biggest becomes a female after it matures but hey, who cares! lol two are better than one

  • Nemo looks so happy, i wanted to start a salt tank and here i was thinking bigger is better, this is very inspiring, i might go 30 gallon.

  • nice music ;)

  • hi!

I was wondering, do you know anything about turning a freshwater 10g tank to a saltwater tank?

    I have everything i think i need so far. i have a filter(of course), A power head , a heater, getting salt soon+sand, and i also have a 15w fluorescent overhead light.

Can you tell me what else i need. And maybe some steps on turning a FW tank to a SW tank if you know how please.

    Thx (:

  • that's a lot of money for a ten gallon tank!!!!!!!

  • how much did you spend to get all that together and that looks bigger then a 10 gallon

  • i like this tank i have a 55 gallon tank and i need some corals that dont need metal halides.but does any one know the chances of keeping a clam under t5s

  • Depending how deep the clam is and how good the reflectors are on your T5 fixture you may be able to keep one.

  • nice corals and clowns shouls get a bigger tank with more clowns

  • Amazing.

I have a new 10 gallon aquarium. It is encouraging to see such extravagance in a smaller tank.

  • Thank you very much. Good luck with yours. Any videos?

  • its beutiful buts small, so many fish would look beutiful in there but the tanks to small, buts a cool tank,

  • quality > quantity

    It's beautiful!
