  • What the hell is that thing. Subscribing =)

  • my doctor is not working please help meeee! Whenever I try to load the games by pressing play.. it says waiting... and then goes black and says 'STOP PARAMETER ERROR' ive tried restarting it and doing it agian 123434 times and it doesnt work. help me :)

  • @d34dspace Hmm, may be a problem with your CD drive or might be the RAM in there too. You might want to have a go swapping the cd drive out first.

  • @d34dspace Could be the disc too, try another disc, maybe even a different brand?

  • @RetroRepair Well I don't have any other discs with games on them because this doctor and all the discs were given to me like 13 years ago and the one I have in the Doctor is the last remaining disc. So how do I make another one? Or what can I do to get some more haha. Thanks alot.

  • @d34dspace They are literally just normal CD-Rs with n64 roms on them. Just burn some to a CD-R.. that's it -_^ Given the disc's age, I'd say that's your problem.

  • hi how did you make your new power adapter? Because my cdrom drive spins really fast and after that it freeze for few seconds . i think it has to do with the bung psu being crap . ive change my cdrom for a 52x one. but now i think it too much for my original bung psu.

is the v64 freezing while loading rom has to do with power supply?

I've red some things like this about modding a normal pc power supply by changing pin layout >.< too complicated for me.

  • Did anyone ever use the wildcard64? I just got one of these and the roms need to go on the disk with a "list". I can't for the life of me remember what the list file should be called and if it should just contain the roms names in it, can anyone help?

  • While you can install an IDE DVD-ROM drive and read CD's I don't think the Doctor V64 can read DVD-ROM discs (even ISO9660 bridged ones) can it??

  • @a1exh No it can't, it will still only read CDs but since DVD drives are more common than CD drives these days, it's an option if you need to replace it. Incidently, you CAN put a compact flash drive in these with a BIOS modification.

  • my sega-megadrive has no problems at all but if you want i can break it and send it for you try to fix it!

    What should i break first?

  • @HarakiriGTR Haha I have a stack of those to go through!

  • They had the z64 also which aloud you to back up your games on zippdrive
