It lasted five episodes and he got canned. I forgot the name as well even though I watched one or two episodes. Dice got blacklisted in hollywood and did only B grade films and didnt make a real comeback until the early 2000's.

All I have to say is that Dice is as relevant to comedy as Leif Garrett is to the Rock Music scene! Jackie brought more to Howard's show in one day than Artie's entire output so far. I think Artie is a funny dude on his own, and think he's doing his best, but no one could replace Jackie's laugh, writing, and chemistry he added to the show in the 90's. Just look on youtube lately.
