Anne also is one of my favorite characters because she is strong, independent, and knows what she wants in life. She doesn't go all ga ga for men. She punished Gilbert for crossing her just once, and after that he knew not to mess with her, but to treat her with respect. Not suprisingly another one of my favorite characters is Annie played by Aileen Quinn, Annie is also a strong, independent, redheaded orphan. Orphans are tough and don't take crap from anybody. I love orphan stories, they..
Megan Follows is Anne. She was born to play this role. No other person that will ever take on this role will ever beat Megan Follows. Megan is the standard that nobody will ever match. I loved redheaded women before seeing this movie, but after movie, I was hooked on auburn haired women.
When I saw this years ago, I didn't notice the subtext. After re-watching this series recently, parts of it (like THIS one) scream "lezzie!" Good stuff.
@BetamaxBabe Well, it was more common at this point in time for both girls and boys that were siblings to share a bed, with their same gender sibling.
@MovieMakerSari I know you wrote this 3 years ago. But I would like to say, I actually learned alot from this movie. It was in a way kinda like a way for guys to learn how girls work in an entertaining manner.
@xXDEICIDE216Xx Haha it's okey, I'm still here on youtube :) Wow, that's fantastic! I totally agree, even though the movie is about a different time, it can still teach people greats things about relationships and feelings :)
Awww I love this!!!! Anne sure is dramatic isn't she

It would've been hot if they kissed and showed their bosoms to each other.

@7mandoblu They're good friends, not Lesbians. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
