This is a true solve. If you practice cubing many people average under 20 seconds, and even 15. Under 10 is hard but many cubers, world record holders and close to them, get around 5 - 8 seconds each solve.

To make the cube turn better they use some form of 'lube'. Usually a silicone spray you buy at a local hobby shop. And also it helps if they don't have a Rubik's brand cube.

I know this all because I cube, and this is legit.
