I re-enacted World War 2 German back in the 1980's. It is a 100 times more authentic now. We had maybe a handful of vehicles then. Once in a blue moon this guy would bring out an Original "Hetzer." Once at Fort Dix someone brought out a yellow painted M-47 as a "Panzer". Way too farbie even for then. But that was it. We'd have killed back then to have had T-55 or T-34 Tiger conversion. Great job!!!
Having an original Panzer III is cool but it's irresponsible to use it for events. In a hundred years reenactors will curse our generation for being so foolish with original vehicles. There's nothing wrong with reproduction vehicles as long as they are accurate. And as far as the contradiction about using original T34s for conversion, who cares their Russian anyways :P
Are you in Grossdeutschland? They reenact around my area (MD, NY, PA, etc) all the time. I'd like to join some day. I have no equipment, just firearms. Kar98k and Walther P.38, both firing veteran bring backs.
@knotterchen - Not sure. I know it's a rebuild/conversion but of what I'm not totally sure. It's the Tiger Tank from Saving Private Ryan.
