I work at Madrid Barajas airport as ground agent for two airlines: one is 100%airbus (A-319 A-320 and A-321) and the other one is 100%boeing (737-800). AlI I tell you guys, is that I'm fed up of announcing delays and cancelations to the airbus-company's passengers due to "technical reasons". This happens at least twice a week or so, and that's only during my shift (not to mention the rest of the day). It doesen't happen to the boeing company more than once a year. I have been on airbus and boeing and when it comes to short haul, the a320 is more comfortable than the 737 and when it's long haul, the 777 is more comfortable than the a330.
But Airbus beat boeing last year when it comes to total aircraft sold.
it's not that that the plane's are comfortable but it's more that airbus is much uglyer than boeing. look at the nose of a a380 and look at the nose of a 747 there is a lot of diferent between them.

Airbus is like Microsoft; they wait for Apple to release a product then improve upon it and market it as an "inbetween" model. There's nothing innovative coming out from Airbus, they're all just replicas of Boeings.

@BilnaatxProductions Boeing does not compare to airbus, airbus is apple, and boeing is Microsoft, one is new and high tech and the other is old ad desprately tries to become modern, but fails horribly. Airbus is becoming to manufacturer of choice for airlines. boeing is outdated.

...a better plane. Same happened with the A380, which is better than 474-8, selling more, serving better to its purpose (carrier), has more room, more luxury, etc... Is a fact that Airbus is selling more, which is result of...? Might be Airbus great planes, or perhaps Boeing's failure to bring something fresh, better and on time? Well, "replicas" are selling more
By the way, you should watch Pirates of Silicon Valley or google for a while, before saying Microsoft is the only thieve out there

They are far from being replicas of Boeings. Airbus planes get the job done, and so do Boeing.
Why would you give half a fuck which plane you fly on? Isn't the service and experience the main thing, or is it just "Im going to the airport so i can fly on a plane that has the name written "Boeing" on it"

In a short amount of time B-787 will dominate the aviation market as the worlds newest most technologically advanced airliner leaping 20 years ahead of Airbus.We know Airbus lacks Boeing technology and industrial might and know how to build a concept plane from a dream to reality. Now Airbus is doomed to lose more A350-SDL(Super-Delay-Liner) sales to Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airfags A350 still does not have engine!

@CloudVirtualAirlines umm i think it goes the other way around. Apple and Airbus and Microsoft and Boeing. Because right now mac is so much more advanced in technology than microsft and it makes more sense to put airbus there rather than boeing.

Yes we think an 737 is more comfertable than an a320, but it can always be the airline. because Singapore Airlines has more comfertabilty than easyjet

I have been on airbus and boeing and when it comes to short haul, the a320 is more comfortable than the 737 and when it's long haul, the 777 is more comfortable than the a330.
But Airbus beat boeing last year when it comes to total aircraft sold.

it's not that that the plane's are comfortable but it's more that airbus is much uglyer than boeing. look at the nose of a a380 and look at the nose of a 747 there is a lot of diferent between them.
