R.I.P. Walter Settles, 1957-2010. Walter passed away on August 30th 2010 from complications during a back surgery. However during surgery Walter unfortunately went into cardiac arrest and was unable to be resuscitated. Walter was my stepfather and a well respected man. It was sad to see him leave, but at the same time a relief to know that he's no longer suffering. He is a true inspiration to me, there will never be another Walter Settles, take care.

there are parts of this show that feel ridiculously fake and then there are other parts that seem really cool. This guy was on BOB AND TOM and got me to watch the show. But now after having watched, it feels really really fake. SO is it or isn't it? If it is, just play it up for the fakeness like they doe for that house one where they give cripples new homes. Otherwise they need to explain why some of this feels extremely scripted etc...

Reality Show? Come on CBS, you know there is no such thing. Is "entertainment" thats what it is PERIOD. Any time you have a script and a film crew following you for weeks or months, what is it? ENTERTAIMENT. Here you have this white clean cut guy with manicure hands playing the role of an ex construction worker employed by WM, being followed by a crew of cameras just hanging around speaking to other employeees. I which my employer and supervisors were like that. WM paid CBS. $REVENUE$FWM

Kevin probably gets paid 1K more per year (salary) than the employees in the recycling plant and works 10-20+ more hours per week than his employees. You can see it in his eyes, he couldn't care less.

I applaud Larry's willingness to do the jobs of his company to improve through actually doing the job as opposed to making decisions without any hands on experience. If it was me, Kevin would have been shown the door. I would not suffer mini tyrants. People work better when empowered rather than cowed.

I completely agree. Kevin needs an attitude adjustment or to find another line of work. I'm really surprised that he didn't find his demise in that meeting. Larry thought the bldg was on fire when she took off to the time clock! This is a great show and I, too, am looking forward to new episodes. It's about time the big boys see just how well we little guys do our jobs everyday.
