The UN recognizes N. Cyprus as a part of Cyprus not as a part of Greece, if you Greeks would have kept your long noses out of Cyprus the Turks wouldn't have invaded it.

Infact cyprus has been a land much fought over for thousands of years. It is regarded as "Occupied Territory" Northern Cyprus cannot survive without the help of Turkey both for financial need and military. The Turkish Military presence is not the law, they stand with the Turkish Cypriot military to uphold the borders. They will only act if those borders are compromised. If they are not there the Turkish Cypriots will be defensless. They have every right to protect themselves.

They looked after each other like brothers and sisters. Polotics ruined that freindship and many more all over the island.
