  • Its hard to compare these two. The jag costs about 10 to 15 thousand dollars more and makes 80 more horsepower than the caddy. I have a cts, but if I could afford the jag and its maintenance, I'd seriously consider buying one.

  • the jaguar xf looks like a japanese/ korean car. i even saw  a hyundai that looked like it.

    the cadillac is too elegant and glorious looking compared to the jaguar.

    i dont know about performance and i dont care about it. looks wise the cadillac buttfucks the jaguar hands down

    They are letting the engineers do what they want. That's where the XFR came from.

  • If you haven't noticed. Almost NOTHING on BMW's is as standard. They're overpriced, yet overrated peices of shit. Nearly EVERYTHING is an optional extra. While on the Jag. You get a lot of stuff standard, Hi res Sat Nav. Bi-Xenon headlamps. Heated seats. Power Steering (Probably an optional extra on a BMW) Steering wheel controls. And a BMW 1 Series (The most expensive one) costs $48,000. Fuck that.

  • Electrical problems? That happened back in the 70's with the XJS when Jaguar was in charge with Leyland. That time has past. It's because BMW has a bigger line up of like 20 cars per class. "Oh look at me buy me I'm a common peice of trash everyone's gonna see" Jaguar's quality has improved vastly. I own an S-type. NEVER has it had any electrical problems. The leather in my S-type is hand stitched also, If you haven't noticed. Jaguar have their own seat makers.

  • First of all, I didn't understand a word you just said, and second. You're wrong, the first car with disc brakes was the MkII Jaguar. The Aston Martin shares NO partnership with Ford in the design department. Aston actually use a Jaguar V8 in the V8 Vantage. So they share with them. Jaguar also share V8's and V6's with Land Rover. And erm, in a review the XF actually has the best handling of any sedan currently.

We abolished that shit here in Britain a LONG time ago. The XF is built in a more advanced factory than any German sedan is created in. I know this since I've been to Castle Bromwich (UK) and the BMW Factory in Munich. And I can tell you. The XF is built to a very high standard. It'll keep powering on for a long time.

  • Jaguar also makes 500HP out of a V8. So there. The 4.2 V8 is naturally aspirated. And is awesomely smooth and refined. Jaguar's V12, You could balance an stuff on the engine, since it's so refined it wouldn't move. Maybe I don't care about performance? I don't drive around a racetrack my entire life. Rather than having. Two square tailamps. I'd rather have some beautiful 2 strip tail lights with LED'S. You say it has technology? GM can't make shit. Let's see a flip up gear shifter in the CTS.

  • Not many people agree the XF is good looking, apart from the headlamps (Which I personally like) The the rest of the car actually has lines, unlike the CTS-V, which basically looks like a kid drew it with a ruler. They say the average age of a cadillac driver has dropped from 65 to 58, I guess that's some way forward for them. Aston Martin is owned by Prodrive,a british motorsport and racing vehicle manufacturer.
