@1000bomb I notice you're from the US so me looking at UK shops is no use. I just checked a price comparison site and the game did come up, but only for UK. If you check sites like that, something will appear I think. If that fails, there's always Ebay. :)

@BlackRonsky07 Nope, small straight is 4 dices, so it can be (1,2,3,4) (2,3,4,5) or (3,4,5,6). large straight is 5 dices, so it can be (1,2,3,4,5) or (2,3,4,5,6).

if you make a roll do you have to add it to the table, also what if you cannot add to the table/score/chart, example, you have filled in the upper chart, and chance, you make a roll, it is not 4 of a kind or a straight or full house or any on the lower table, do you ignore it and roll again, or pick one on the lower table to fill in as 0, that one is then void, as only yahtzee can be scored multiple times, is game over when all tables are full or after so many turns at throwing dice three times?

That made me wonder what the maximum score in a game of Yahtzee actually is.

And how you would do it would be nye on impossible, you would have to be just dead lucky as to get the maximum, you need to throw 16 consecutive Yahtzee's (seeing as there are 16 sections to fill in), that would give you a score of 703.

@nufcdazzla I worked it out once, the highest score would be 675.. not sure though, might have to look at that again. :D I don't think it'd be impossible, just 10,000,000,000 to 1 chance. lol

@TonyoTimes You're corrdct and im wrong, I mistakenly added 63 as the upper bonus instead of 35, anyway, here's the rundown Aces = 5 Twos = 10 Threes = 15 Fours = 20 Fives = 25 Sixes = 30 TOTAL = 105 BONUS = 35 UPPER SECTION TOTAL = 140 Chance = 30 3 of a kind = 30 4 of a kind = 30 Full House = 25 Small Straight = 30 Large Straight = 40 Yahtzee! = 50 Extra Yahtzee! bonuses = 300 LOWER SECTION TOTAL = 535 OVERALL TOTAL = 675 And the odds of doing that are as high as one in nearly 3 trillion

One of my favorite games, since you must know math to really play it well. I once wrote a version of it for my Timex 1000 call YACHTZEE. Ever try figuring out a mathematical equation for a Large Straight?

I just love to play Yahtzee. I learned how to play it as I went without any instruction or tutorial. I don't have this type of set though. I have the Hasbro edition.

awh man! it was one of my favourite childhood games. My Auntie and cousins got me playing it back in the day.

A cracking dice game is one called Dirty Dog, it's similar. The dice in that are enclosed in a thing that you press to roll them, so it's good for travelling too.
