SoC on PC has been freeware for a while now, as SoC 2008 was supposed to come out - still waiting for it!

I actually got a e-mail reply from Iain McLeod the programmer of SOC and he says he's been busy working on a P2P radio program and that SOC '08 has been put on the back burner.

Thanks for the info. What a pity, I hope he doesn't abandon the idea. I still play SoC a lot, but try to limit myself to a '1 life challenge' of which I am allowed 3 credits. So far my best on 1 life is about 600,000.

I've had the PC one a few years and it's one of the greatest games I've ever played (I am a gamer of 25 years experience). It's awesome! I'm now inspired to film me blitzing 10 levels as quick as possible.
