You have decent form on your golf swing. Also, I'd love to see an rx-7 (or rx-9...whatever) with that new higher displacement rotary that Mazda was talking about a while back. Then, they just have to make the new RX lighter and it will be more competitive with the 370z and other cars in the class. As it is, the RX-8 looks good in my opinion (although I know some people don't like the way it looks), it just lacks in performance.

I know it needs more power. The higher displacement rotary I'm referring to is the 16x, which is supposed to be more powerful than the 13B while also being more fuel efficient. BTW, I'd take the FD over the Z any day of the week.

The R engine is roughly based on the 65 AMG engine in that its a 6.0L.The R engine is tuned IMMENSELY different from the 65 AMG, so much that it can barely be classified as the same engine. Also, there's no turbos, and a high performance CF intake system. Sorry, I'm a purist lol.

I do hope Mazda keeps the roots of the RX7 for the new rotary powered sports car comparable to the earlier generation sports cars. A great handling, affordable sports car, not a electronically controlled super machine designed to compete with lambo's and ferrari's like the GT-R. The affordable sports car market is incredibly over looked, and I think there is a lot money to be made there. But either way, if the car burns oil, too much gas, and smells like a chainsaw, I'll be more than happy. XD

Congratulations on 630 episodes and the new studio! I have so much respect for Tanner Foust, and that Fiesta Pikes Peak (I recently did a video on the PPIHC) is bad ass! Kenny Brack? Wow, cool! Paganis are severely underrated, and that Zonda R sounds awesome! Like a V12 symphony. That hybrid sound deal is an inconvenient(?) truth. Put some Flowmasters on them. They'll make PLENTY of noise then! :) I'd love to see an RX-7 return. Until then, the 1993+ RX-7's will suffice. Take care!

Thats the kinda of thinking that killed the RX-7. Yes the 3rd gen RX-7 was an iconic car, no doubt. It had great performance, but, it over looked their main consumer that made the 1st and 2nd gen RX's a hit. Comparable to the Supra, and the Skyline it was trying to compete with, it was under powered, and over priced. I handled better than them, but people that are spending that kind of cash on a car, really only car about the hp no. that help make panties drop. Besides that market is overcrowded
