I owned a 98 spec type R for a bit, great car, real good on a winding road when you kept it in the revs. Suited my driving style (came from the 4ag camp, no power, all revs). Handling and gearbox was good too. Only needs a bit more torque for around town etc.

@SuperSupraWei when this car was made at 1995-1999 it was the best at 1600cc and 1800cc...Japanese cars made at 90's quite fast and quite cheap to maintain...BMW'S made at 90's had an 1,6L engine powered with 120hp and 1.8L powered with 140hp..Honda used 1.6L powered with 160-170hp and 1.8L powered with 180-200hp...Dont know what you thing but the difference from other vehicles made at the same period of time is huge.Plus a japanese car is by far more reliable than many others even nowadays.
