i have a idea of how raziel will become free somehow the reaver will break and raziel will be set free yet again i have no idea how the reaver would break thou i mean its only broken twice when kain was in a battle with i think it was vorador and when kain hit raziel with reaver but raziels in the sword and im not so sure about vorador or who ever it was kain fought so if anybody can think of any idea how the reaver would break please tell me
@Gindelbi Actually it's impossible filming the whole series. Even if you'd do 18 movies, deciding where to cut and end one movie is one thing, the other would be people who didn't see the earlier films woudln't understand a thing unless you'll do a 30 minutes recap each time.
The best line from this game series was during the time when the pillars were corrupted and then when the conversation reached its end.

The vampires from this series are TRUE vampires, none of that sparkly-skin crap. Like raf7550 portayed, Edward would have his head off within a milisecond into the fight. As great as this series is, I wouldn't want to risk the film industry ruining it. I am hoping, however unlikely that it will be, that Raziel will somehow be freed from the Reaver and span into yet another side-by-side Kain/Raziel game. Maybe even have co-op? Oh well, a man can dream eh?
I don't want this game to be forgotten. They'll never make a movie or book, but its our job to keep the flame alive. I played this when I was like 8 years old. Now, 11 yeas later, just listening to this theme makes me feel so nostalgic. It's a pity they won't produce another game of this universe, no matter how many petitions we start. Underrated, truly...

The tragedy is that BO2 had the potential to be great - it does delve into why Kain goes beyond just hating humans, Ariel and everyone else who backstabbed him in BO1. Also, the bossfights are miles beyond anything past SR1 (why they ditched them or made them purely hack-and-slash is beyond me). Too bad the writer for SR1+2+Defiance wasn't involved in the production of it - "emo" is a pretty fit description for Vorador in BO2.
I loved all these games (apart from BO2 - what were they thinking?!) Blood Omen is probably my favourite, although I also loved Soul Reaver...the only thing I didn't like about Raziel is how as his character progresses, he turns more and more into a moany lil emo! "Why me? I never wanted this! Waaaaaaaah" kinda thing ¬_¬
How could you hate BO2 it was wonderful. And the fact that Raziel acts like that is because he was utterly destroyed you would act like that too if you were in his shoes
he doesnt turn emo, he gets more and more aggressive... " i have been decieved at every turn" he says to Vorador, you can hear hatred and anger in his voice, hardly whiney.
he also started the fight with kain:
"and that will be the prophesid hero's battle; i win, becuase you will not fight me!?"
one thing we all have to love about ths game is the way it "streamed" data rather than have it load bits of it at the same time, thus reducing load times... hell, we only see the "LOADING" screen when youre loading the game or begining it, thats it!
There is no other word to describe this track other than "beautiful". Information Society just encapsulated the chaotic, tribal nature of the world Raziel inhabits and his determination to survive in this hostile environment. Perfect.
It would be so awesome if Eidos made another LoK game like something that would let you play as kain,a younger kain and a vampire raziel,or if they remade the old games and put in them all the stuf that was left out of every LoK game,the people who did voicess for raziel and Kain are still alive,but it's shame that the Elder gods voice died,by the way love the song best song in the series

Imagine the amount of movies that would be needed just to tell the tale of this series!
They didn't even do Lord of the Rings justice over 3 films.
I'd estimate it would take about 18 films just to try and encompass the entirety of the Legacy of Kain games let alone tell the whole story.

I don't want this game to be forgotten. They'll never make a movie or book, but its our job to keep the flame alive. I played this when I was like 8 years old. Now, 11 yeas later, just listening to this theme makes me feel so nostalgic. It's a pity they won't produce another game of this universe, no matter how many petitions we start. Underrated, truly...

The tragedy is that BO2 had the potential to be great - it does delve into why Kain goes beyond just hating humans, Ariel and everyone else who backstabbed him in BO1. Also, the bossfights are miles beyond anything past SR1 (why they ditched them or made them purely hack-and-slash is beyond me). Too bad the writer for SR1+2+Defiance wasn't involved in the production of it - "emo" is a pretty fit description for Vorador in BO2.

I loved all these games (apart from BO2 - what were they thinking?!) Blood Omen is probably my favourite, although I also loved Soul Reaver...the only thing I didn't like about Raziel is how as his character progresses, he turns more and more into a moany lil emo! "Why me? I never wanted this! Waaaaaaaah" kinda thing ¬_¬

How could you hate BO2 it was wonderful. And the fact that Raziel acts like that is because he was utterly destroyed you would act like that too if you were in his shoes

he doesnt turn emo, he gets more and more aggressive... " i have been decieved at every turn" he says to Vorador, you can hear hatred and anger in his voice, hardly whiney.
he also started the fight with kain:

Blood omen 2 were made by different people. Urgh. They did try to salvage it in defiance though, and did a decent job of integrating the story.

one thing we all have to love about ths game is the way it "streamed" data rather than have it load bits of it at the same time, thus reducing load times... hell, we only see the "LOADING" screen when youre loading the game or begining it, thats it!

There is no other word to describe this track other than "beautiful". Information Society just encapsulated the chaotic, tribal nature of the world Raziel inhabits and his determination to survive in this hostile environment. Perfect.

It would be so awesome if Eidos made another LoK game like something that would let you play as kain,a younger kain and a vampire raziel,or if they remade the old games and put in them all the stuf that was left out of every LoK game,the people who did voicess for raziel and Kain are still alive,but it's shame that the Elder gods voice died,by the way love the song best song in the series

@zfiles4me yeah i have thought this for years there is still alot missingwe only knew how raziel became a vampire and what happend to him after his wings were ripped of id like to know about his life as a vampire and being kains right hand man. because he looks like the best vampire ever, tht game would be awesome provided they could right another extrordinary story like they have before, which i have no doubt.

No one has the right to remake it i loved it on the PS1 and PS2 and i even sorta liked Defience i played and compleated them all from Blood Omen to Defience and the story is always gonna be for my briliant now id like to see a game on how the Vampires first started maybe Legacy of Kain - The First Age or something along them lines were you can play as Nozgoths first Vampire maybe even RPG it and show you you start Low and end up been a leader of a covant... Who knows but there needs to something

I disagree.. there is a lot of good games out there.. there is a lot of shit also.. but u cant say that there r only shit because of some.. and LoK series turned out in the end (Defiance).. into something must focused in graphics than the origins that made the game.. Defiance to me was more about the "conclusion" of the history than anything.. and Amy Henning the director of LoK.. isnt on the Eidos anymore she started a new series of game with some elements of LoK and TR series its Uncharted...

It is. It goes Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen, Blood Omen 2, Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Defiance, Soul Reaver 2. SR2 is in there three times because it takes place in three different areas in time, just in case you ask.

they should create a game .... where it has Co-op system .... 2 players just like resident evil 5 ... with Raziel and Kain raping Heldyn Community before they Cast the spell which make the vampires Desire for blood and cant walk under the daylight

No, remember Kain and Raziel go through the time portal at the end of sr1? They go back to when Ariel was first murdered, and see firsthand the corruption of the pillars. I think I know what you meant though.

am willing to fund the making of this game if eidos delivers. i think rathet than signing petitions for next LOK, money always matters. if everyone chips in like 50 dollars n we get around even 5000 ppl, then i think would be enuf for a next gen raziel with glowing eyes outta our PC n xboxes.
