@werm277 we can go back and forth on this topic forever but on thing is certain....all the great bands eventually go mainstream. LP was hardcore and pioneering in their craft. I have listened to them since I first heard them in 2000. I got my download of their new album and was disappointed.....until i saw them live in concert, it was better than I imagined. In 10 years we will see if DIOYY is still cutting edge or if they too go mainstream and make some real money. DIOYY you guys are awesome!

@jdtech05 There's nothing necessarily wrong with mainstream music. Even during Meteora days they were mainstream but their sound now just sounds extremely popish. Fame makes some artist music horrible to some it doesnt change it. LP might sell more cds now but do some research and see who buys there cds now a days. Not the same group of fans (unless your just some fanboy), but younger crowd and the same crowd that listen to the pop shit on the radio.

So does DIOYY's Epic last song really fit their MO? I watched this to hear who was going on tour with LP. I'm not impressed because the singer simply used that effect on his voice the whole song except for when he said "hey!". Whenever I listen to my techno I like to at least hear what the singer is saying, the riff was very catchy. This isnt garbage, but nothing groundbreaking, in my personal opinion

Reanimation was kinda lame, but their newer albums were decent.
