  • I had this game on the PC and the music was the same as the amiga version. You must have selected beeper by accident because the majority of PC's around this time came with sound blaster cards.

  • Ahhh! yes, I remember disconnecting my PC speaker, Good Times!

  • dear god, what the hell were they thinking by even bothering with "music" jeeez how goddam awful! someone make it stop!

  • LOL @ DOS screenshot at the start... Oh how I miss PC speaker.. Many kids these days dont even remember it..

  • Oh my God.... terrible sounds!

The Amiga version is miles away.

  • 1. Amgia version - Best sound

    2. Atari ST version - Looked + played exactly the same as the Amgia version except altered lower quality sounds.but still had the awesome intro music.

    3. PC DOS version - Altered levels, awful sound, password protected...a rubbish port.

  • This is awesome and cute at the same time lol. Looks like a great game!

  • yeh this was one of my favorite games too. I spent hours on it, and completed it. even got me listening to betty boo :~# Always went out and bought some liquorice allsorts for some reason after playing it. - Did anyone ever see the evil green jelly baby or was I tripping??!

  • Daaaam one of my favorite games ever. I loved the original gameplay, the graphics everything. I also remember playing these demo versions, they came with the amiga magazines. I have some amiga rom cd's for the PC but i wish i had this game. i can't find it anywhere.

  • I gots it. Runs great on Windows XP through DosBox. Ping me and I'll hook u up.

  • I absolutely loved this game, has there been a modern release of this for the PC,playstation or any other format?

    CLASSIC!

  • same !

  • They planned a GBA version, but it was canned.

  • Wow... wtf. The DOS version had the shittiest sound ever. Put up a video of the Amiga one.

  • thats right.

    DISGUSTING

  • For the love of god that multiplexed mono sound is dire.

  • god the pc sound sucked show the amiga version

  • heheh u can move that "loading" word and the other words by hitting space key.was a nice game.9877 is a cheat of the game 4.level i think :)

  • what happened after you did the speedrun?

  • PC/Amiga Game?.....Don't forget the ST version!

  • wauw..

does anybody know how to defeat the bubble in the end of the game(amiga version)???????

  • "wauw..

does anybody know how to defeat the bubble in the end of the game(amiga version)???????"

That is exactly the same part, where I was stuck on!

  • I did a speedrun on it.

  • Magic pockets= POOR MANS GODS!!!!

    hehehe

loved em both. but gods was far superior.

  • Bitmap Brothers were gods at ST games I think they made speedball didn't they and Chaos Engine :)

  • oh jesus not the pc version, whats the point if the music sounds like that.

    AMIGA VERSION ONLY!

  • didn't the amiga version have 'digitised' voice samples in the theme music, or did i image that :)

  • You didn't imagine that! I remember it well! The Amiga was lightyears ahead of the Mac & PC with graphics & audio. If only Commodore had better marketing we would have games( with awesome audio) today that we'll have to wait ten years to play!

  • Great game!!! The bitmaps also did an awesome game called ~Cadaver~ the original Tomb raider I think!

  • I used to LOVE this game! :D It was so cool...lol

Gotta show my brother for nostalgic purposes! Thanks so much for sharing this!
