I recently picked up one of these fine little radios and it performs very well. It holds its own against my Sony ICF-SW7600GR, but at about half the price. The audio quality of the Kaito/Degen 1103 is better, in fact, than the Sony. My only gripe is that the radio arrived sporting a couple of dings in the grill area of the radio. The small dents appear to be cosmetic flaws and the radio performs well, but it points to the level of quality control among Chinese manufacturing companies.

I have a KA1103 for about 3 or 4 years. Great radio.

Pues nada extraordinario. Recepción dentro de casa no muy alta, con las limitaciones que esto supone, antena telescópica y alimentación a red.

Nice demo of a very good receiver! I have an Etón E5 which is the same radio inside, and I'm very satisfied with it. My E5 is modified with narrow AM and FM filters making it a remarkably capable "DX machine".

Gracias. No está modificado, está tal cual vino de origen. Recuerda que esta prueba se ha efectuado sólo con su telescópica. Para tropicales va bien, depende de tu ubicación. Hay gente que lo tiene como primer receptor con escuchas fantásticas en esas difíciles bandas. Muy recomendable, barato, sencillo de manejo y con unas prestaciones que superan en mucho al precio que pagas por él.
