@davisinsane It's possible and relatively easy to do, you need to time which coil is active, ideally you want to activate the coil a tiny bit before the magnet is right in front of the coil, and de-activate just as it is directly in front to get most efficiency out of it.

And there are plenty of ways to time coils, all the way from crude mechanical ones to more fine mechanics or even electric ones :)

In theory, could you use diodes to direct the flyback voltage off the primary coil back into the running battery, therfore recharging the battrey while it is running the motor? I thought this was an interesting concept, and if it works it could mean the motor running nonstop for weeks.

If true overunity to be proven one would have to build a chain of serial OU devices acting like energy vessels feeding eachother once the initial current from battery or applied force to rotor is removed.

So if you have the skill why not build another one, to be fed by this one and to give feedback back to this one.
