  • funny how we forget that jordan had a loosing record before pippen came to his rescue.. kobe on a worser team then jordan still had a winning record and came close to my opinion to winning the title had they survived the suns. got love for both so dont label me a hater. who doesnt want to be like mike but i also love the game and kobe plays it so beautifully just like mike did. oo and i dont care about my grammer posting a comment here on youtube.

  • @Thebeastjac39

MJ led CHI to 50 wins with Pippen only avg'n 7ppg off the bench, but U somehow think he's responsible for MJ being able to do that?!!

    Wow..SMH

And how'd kobe have a winning record on a worser team? He had Caron Butler & Odom in '05 and STILL couldn't win more than 34 games or make the playoffs!

He came close to winning a title?

    How?!!

They were TWICE ELIMINATED in the 1st Rd by PHX, with Amare missing the ENTIRE series in '06 LOL!!

    U don't know WTF you're talkin' about!!

  • I don't see why people have to bash one player when praising another. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are both great players. People need to stop comparing them to each other cause it's not fair to either guy. There career paths are totally different. Kobe started off his career on a playoff team with an established superstar and had to wait to get his chance while Michael was instantly the man on a really bad team. Just appreciate them both for what they have done.

  • "Just appreciate them both for what they have done"

Who can, when U have SO MANY of his (kobe's) idiotic fans who CONSTANTLY try to discredit MJ (and other players/eras) to build him up in stature? This kinda' arrogant, juvenile behaviors annoys longtime knowledgable fans of the sport, which just makes us post the facts, which in turn appears as if we're piling on kobe, when all we're doing is stating the facts.

As long as they continue to spread these lies, we'll continue to call 'em out..

  • @blackadam06

You're worse than Faux News lol. "we'll continue to call 'em out..". Do you work for MJ personally? Did you ghost write that speech that showed that the REAL FRAUD all along was MJ himself? The only difference between Kobe and MJ is perception. People perceived MJ to be a great guy when he wasn't, so his transgressions weren't character flaws. Kobe lives in the 24/7 cycle so everything that's done is overblown. I'm no Kobe kid, but many of you MJ slurpers make him out to be a deity

  • @cbaldwinjr

Get outta here with that bullsh*t..

All U moronic ass kobe homers are the same. U make all these gay ass references about 1 man being on or inside of another man, while offering up NO pertinent info that has anything to do with what's being discussed.

    GTF off of my channel/video....

My patience & tolerance for U morons is extremely limited these days...

  • The MJ dunk on Woolridge reminds me of MJ's dunk on Ewing in the 91' playoffs game 3..

  • Sick Upload Black..I think this is the 8th time I watched this video..

  • This was in the infancy of what would eventually become the first of 2 three-peats for the Chicago Bulls.Of course,Chicago didn't win their 1st championship until the following season. As for the 1989-1990 season, the Lakers did have the NBA's best record that season but bowed out to Phoenix in 5 games during the second round.

  • Funny how Kobe stated on beyond the glory that Magic was his favorite player yet he plays like MJ because they are the same size?Whatever that means.I dont see a drop of Magics game in Kobe.

  • That's how U know he's full of it..

  • let the guy suck up. magic is part of the lakers almost like a owner or manager . we all know who the jordaniares are kobe leading the way

  • @blackadam06 @RohoicRamz94

Exactly guys. It's another reason why it's tough to like him. a big fat LIAR. He clearly obsessed on watching MJ while growing up (and that's no shame...cus we all did..he just got lucky and grew 6'6 ). Tounge wagging, fist pump celebration..too obvious. Problem is when u point this out...you're a hater. Sad.

  • Well I guess his dumb ass fans must consider Phil Jackson a "hater" too since he said Kobe "copied" MJ, and that the comparisons have become & I quote: "weaker over the years" LOL!!

He says it here ---> /watch?v=PSv9mPAePC8

I guess his fans would also consider Jon Barry (a former teammate) a "hater" too because on May 29 of this year, he stated on the Mike & Mike Show that as a teammate of kobe, he witnessed him & I quote "studying MJ tapes over & over, even his interview tapes" LOL!!

  • Only kobe homers try to deny the OBVIOUS.

From the sticking out of the tongue, the fist pump after a game winner, the kicking out of the leg after his release, the shaved head in his earlier days, hiring MJ's speech/interview coach & personal trainer, U name it! He's spent his ENTIRE CAREER patterning himself after MJ LOL!!

    Even his nickname!

1 week after the Air Jordan XIX's came out, kobe started calling himself "the black mamba".

The NAME of those Air Jordan's was The Black Mambas LOL!!

  • I find it funny that a guy like Jordan whom older Laker fans said would never touch a ring because of his style of play are now praising Kobe because of his style of play which he tries to steal from Jordan.

  • The game changed and Stern's NBA made it possible for a singular talent to lead a team to a ring. MJ couldn't do that during the Magic/Bird era...you needed three HOF's to win a ring. Even the Bad Boys had three (I include Rodman). I find it funny that you can't recognize that. And stop it with the Kobe steals from Jordan. You can't STEAL what someone gives you. MJ tutored young Kobe. Is he stealing from Olajuwon because he went down to Houston to learn his pivot game? That's idiotic to say

  • Since youre so smart tell me when did MJ tutor Kobe?

  • blackadam06,please accept my friend invite

  • the move @ 1:40, probably only rondo or lebron could do it in today's NBA. Each have big enough hands and hops.

  • 6:21 there's a reason MJ was on the 1st Defensive Team 9 times from 88-93 and 96-98, why he has over 2500 steals in the regular season. its rare to find someone to lead the league in scoring and steals 3 times. if he wasnt leading the league in steals, he was at least in the top 5, not to mention the Defensive Player of the Year. ha! and they say kobe is better than MJ, not even close

  • Tiny quibble: Lakers won 63 games and had the best record in the league in 1990. I know they aren't remember like the Showtime Lakers since they flamed out to the Suns in the playoffs, but they were definitely still pretty potent.

  • I 2nd that motion..

It's ALWAYS nice to see people in matters of sports talk here on youTube, who actually have some historical perspective on the matter & actually know what they're talkin' about LOL!!

A lot of these fools get on YouTube & profess to be fans of the sport, but are oftentimes completely uninformed..

Especially a lot of these so called Laker fans, which I've found to be ignorant kobe homers the MAJORITY of the time..

  • No actually you're just a tool and an MJ nuthugger to the point of refusing to give Kobe ANY credit. According to you, Kobe had no input into any of the four rings and doesn't even belong on the same plane as MJ. Yet, you still haven't answered my question...what other off-guard has even come close to matching MJ's six rings at this stage of their career? Drexler got one in a support role. And that's really it...for a guy who doesn't rank any merit to MJ, Kobe continues to build a case.

  • Stop making baseless accusations because I've said no such thing. Did he contribute? Yes..was he the dominant factor for all of 'em as MJ was? No..that's my argument.

He wasn't even 1st Team All NBA when he won his 1st title, so please, stop talkin' to me about not givin' him any credit! It is what it is!

If you're gonna compare him to MJ, do it in it's TOTALITY, don't just pick out face value points like how many rings they have & say they're the same, because we BOTH know tey're not!

  • I certainly wouldn't say either that the Lakers were pushovers at this point by a long shot, but they'd been at least to the Finals the 3 previous seasons and 8 times altogether in the 80's.My point being is that the fatigue factor does catch up with you eventually.

  • Finger roll was beautiful

  • Incredible plays, especially the finger roll.

You don't find most of his awesome stuff on documentaries and compilations because of laziness, the producers just use the same plays over and over again.

    Thanks for this gem.

  • Tell me about it..

There are SO MANY highlights of him that are RARELY used that it becomes irritating as a fan..

  • Yeah, the plays rrTale mentions are incredible. The replay at 1:50 is INSANE. Look at the body control and sheer awesomeness of it lol. Jordan-invented footwork is on display at 6:10-6:13. I've said it before, but Jordan doesn't get enough credit for inventing and/or perfecting/popularizing basically the ENTIRE modern footwork repertoire for guards. No one did stuff like 6:11 before he did it. The speed of the drive at 5:56 and the finish is crazy, too. There will never be a better player imo.

  • I missed this game because youtube for some reason no longer shows the video counts for posters on your subscriptions page, which is just ridiculous. Thanks for the upload.

  • Eventhoug they lost its one of my favourite games from the '90 season cause of 3 moves in particular:

1)the layup at 1:18 (another angle /watch?v=tWvxijHNWB4 at the 2:27 mark)

2)Obviously the gorgeous layup at 1:30 one of my all time favorite moves (another angle /watch?v=tWvxijHNWB4 at the 2:07 mark)

3)The monster dunk on Woolridge at 6:35.

Thanks a lot for posting blackadam.

  • great post! unbelievable game with so many highlights

i love that dunk on woolridge b/c of their history and immediately woolridge just laughs once mike dunked on him b/c he knew there was nothing else he could do

  • So many great and famous moves and dunks in just one game.

  • Pip always sets nice screens for MJ in a fast break :)

  • 1:30 is siiiiick !!!!!

  • That finger roll is absolutely sick!

  • yo this is a sick ass game

  • Some incredible highlights on this one! Thanks for the upload!

  • Your welcome..

I'm still working on trying to clear up or rather "Improve" the picture quality on my vids, but I'll continue to share my MJ/Bulls footage with U guys to the best of my ability..
