We were debating on religion one night and 1 of em asked me a very strange question, that why do we [muslims] pray namaz in Arabic, why can we [muslims] pray in English, French , etc . I did not know how to respond to that so i stayed quite . Can someone telme what i should've said to them. please and thank you salam

@vikside the reason we pray salah in arabic is firstly that was the language it was originally revealed in to our prophet pbuh so no translation on earth can do justice to the words of the quran another reason we pray in arabic is for muslim unity e.g so we all pray together in unity in one language otherwise some would pray in english others in russian and their wud b no common ground this way we're all united hope that helps

My problem with Islam is: At the end it says: "Allah,the most gracious,most merciful" Fine, but why aren't his fallowers?Why is the Islam so hard on their own women, their own mothers? No, all previous Prophets were not given the full message. Their words as true as the any truth, but the message was not complete. Prophet Muhammad message was completed at the end and he NEVER told us to belittle, accuse, curse, humiliate the other Prophets. Even if you don't believe in Islam, at least you can show respect. More and more muslims are turning to Christ in America. Having a personal relationship with God and grace given to you free. Knowing that you cannot work for your salvation to get heaven is a big relief. Accepting God's Son as you personal Lord and Savor and knowing Him is a big change. Also eating pork is great.

We were debating on religion one night and 1 of em asked me a very strange question, that why do we [muslims] pray namaz in Arabic, why can we [muslims] pray in English, French , etc . Conduits of this revelation (Messengers) always foretold of the coming of more and specifically certain later Messengers. Among the scriptures that survived, blessed Musa(Moses) and 3iisaa(Jesus) both did the same, and from the Qur.aan several others. UNTIL we get to the blessed Muhammad when the revelation foretold its completion.

Religion is like a car. When a car hist/ kills someone on the street, we should examine the driver behind the steering wheel, not the car. No matter who fantastic the car is, if the driver has some issues for some reasons (mentally, physically, psychologically, etc.), that car can/ will hit people. No, all previous Prophets were not given the full message. Their words as true as the any truth, but the message was not complete. Prophet Muhammad message was completed at the end and he NEVER told us to belittle, accuse, curse, humiliate the other Prophets. Even if you don't believe in Islam, at least you can show respect. God is able to do anything and so He has kept the Qur'an pure for many years and still purifies the hearts of man when they seek Him.

More and more muslims are turning to Christ in America. Having a personal relationship with God and grace given to you free. Knowing that you cannot work for your salvation to get heaven is a big relief. Accepting God's Son as you personal Lord and Savor and knowing Him is a big change. Also eating pork is great.
