I just format them with windows and then sell them on ebay. There is some information there but you need the other hard disk of the raid to really get any meaningful information, with just partial information you need a professional to go out of his way to do it.
I've seen too many videos with a drobo drive FAIL, but can anyone show me a drive that has incurred an error and is being repaired? Or does Drobo not even attempt repairs and just throw out all drives with tiny little hiccups?

What do you do with the Old hard Drives after you take them out of the Drobo? I just ordered my Drobo FS and need to know what people use them for.
