I'm not a Paul bot, but I have noticed his campaign seems to be doing much better since the country's in the toilet. He has lots of radical sounding ideas, but sometimes that's needed to shake things up. Paul's biggest problem is the Republican party. They will not let him get the nomination for their party. The only chance Paul has is if unhappy Democrats cross over & register as Republicans, then vote for him in the primary. He would possibly have a shot, but that's a very unlikely scene.

The reason is that, once a voter understands Ron Paul’s position and how he arrived at that position there is no going back to an establishment candidate. It seems to me, his policies are often misunderstood, the philosophy of the constitution is a philosophy of true liberty, if we were truly free we would be very different people altogether, it would be an entirely different culture with entirely different values. If the current economic system and overall politics of the system have us at war with each other and the world, perhaps a 'new' old approach will help us set right on course to a happier US/World, I am a believer.
