When people ask about Shamanism it can be quite elusive to sum up fully, I found this to be a wonderful and succinct description. No matter what background you come from or religious belief you hold, Shamanism can be another way of reaching your inner truth through drumming, meditation and connection with our natural surroundings, which in itself is a very healing experience. I highly recommend the introduction course at Shamanism Ireland and Martin Duffy is an excellent facilitator.
