  • is that metal? I've only seen plastic ones for sale.

  • A faster speed setting, plus use the wooden punch ram to feed it faster. Helps if your strips of meat "fit" in the hole. It's not a hobart, you're not doing an entire cow. Mine works great, even on the 2nd grind, so turn the patience dial up a bit and enjoy your machine.

  • This little thing is like a toy compared to the Electrolux. Sounds tinny.

  • why not put the speed to a faster setting?

  • @mikeman0341

Is that better? It didn't come with instructions...

  • @KLVNW I read that it should be on speed 4

  • @mikeman0341

Cool thanks. I'll try on speed 4 the next time.

  • Good idea for a video. (Have you thought of investing in a cheap tripod?) I've got one of these meat grinders but have not tried it out yet. You make it look easy to use.

  • @AnotherAmateur

Tripod for my camera? I have one now... It is easy! You only have to put your meat in the grinder....

  • It's a chef's choice - I got one myself and it works great. Key is to make sure the meat is very cold and it's a good idea to keep the grinder unit cold - I throw it in the freezer for a while before using it. it's a fantastic.

  • it's a Jupiter or a Bartscher ? I would like to buy it ! but i find only a Bartscher in Switzerland, it's the same ?

  • @ThePumpumgirl

Mine doesn't has a name, I think they will all do the job anyway. :)

  • Sounds sick!

  • looks like a Chefs choice grinder attachment

  • where did you get the steel grinder? all i can find is the plastic kind

  • @midrew1

I got this for my birthday, I believe you can find it online. This is also not original from Kitchenaid, but the original one is not plastic I believe, but from steel with a white coating.

  • Where do you find a sausage recipe

  • @billleeboy

There must be millions online, try google it.

  • That was painful to watch !!!!!

  • Really slow.

  • @nickw134

There are like 6 levels of speed, this is speed 1. You can do it faster if you want.
