  • How interesting! Here in Brazil, this gesture means "to leave" or "to flee". We use it when somebody is telling a story and wants to emphasize that somebody ran pretty fast or went away in a hurry, or when we want to tell somebody that we're leaving, or that we want to leave.

  • Heh heh!! We usually use this gesture as *turn the lights on!*. In Latvia, drivers show that if someone hasn't got his lights on. They do so, because the person without the lights and without a warning that the lights are broken can actually get in trouble with the police officer...
