@gorbachev9 FYI, she has put that wonderful voice to good use: she's the narrator for the movie "McLuhan's Wake", and is the reader for the audiobook /The Body Artist/ by DeLillo.

Such an intellectual dyke with a great sense of humor!
I loved her in concert in Chicago back in '83 or so and she played a sitar...so far-out and groovy she is! Love her quirkiness!
