Let me teach you something about football. I can't remember one game when Dowie played a 352 formation. it was always 442, or 433. A 442 formation is not always a defending formation. Its the standard formation in English football!

he is a very good championship striker/winger he proved that when he was at coventry however when he was on loan at barnsley he managed like 2 goals in 12 games and missed alot of sitters notably the one against derby i think he would be a good player in league 1 but maybe he has lost his way in the championship

i agree, dele was a highly lazy striker. his work rate was very low. every 10 games he'd do something speacial like turn and shoot with a defender on him, and he'd get flick ons but he would not run. he is very lazy!

Perhaps he was playing under the wrong management last season and for someone who was a hero in the FA CUP and still Coventry's top scorer last season in a below average always looking over thier shoulder all season type team,perhaps he may just silence his critics playing for Bristol City up front with Lee Trundle and Meteb in the coming season... :P
