  • I am so happy I have been practicing this whole time, instead of posting endless argumentative comments on youtube lol.

  • @bachmaninoff practicing up untill now than?

  • Fabulous performance , but i prefer Gould's

  • @bachmaninoff Really... he hated mozart's music? do you have any sources to back up that bullshit? Have you not seen his performance? Satricial... yet he is fully immersed with pleasure and joy whilst playing the 3rd movement. Gould plays music as he interprets it, not exactly the way it was written.Your favorites play the music exactly how it is written, while Gould modifies quite a bit. You obviously don't know shit about Gould, or else you wouldn't call him an arrogant weirdo... idiot.

  • @bachmaninoff Obviously the reason why Gould dismisses anything in the original piece is because he is playing HIS own perception of the piece. In many cases , the changes he makes increase the power and inspiration of certain pieces. Are you suggesting that because he neglects certain boundaries and musical technicalities, that he is somehow inferior in his interpretation of music.. ...Lol, you really don't know anything about Gould.I would advise watching some of his interviews or documentarie

  • @bachmaninoff s so you have a little bit more of an understanding on his ideals. Maybe this will stop you from spreading bullshit.

  • @BeBopDeluxe85

Also, just to further my point about style, you wouldn't play Chopin metronomically would you? Perhaps you know nothing about the art of interpreting piano music, because your ears have been soiled by Gould's bizarre interpretations.

  • @bachmaninoff As expected, you provide no proof or anything of substance. Your analysis is just an assumption based upon your own pathetic and deluded ideologies.According to you , Gould knew nothing of interpreting piano music. I suppose the hundreds of music professionals, and people who have spent their life analyzing classical music are wrong when they say Gould is the best interpreter of Bach's music.

  • @BeBopDeluxe85

I never said Gould couldn't interpret piano music. He was an undisputed pianistic genius. Whether or not I like his interpretations is a different story. I would much prefer Andras Schiff of Edwin Fischer for Bach. I do not believe that Gould's interpretations should be used as a paradigm because they are drastically unique. To say that only Gould is correct, is to say that everyone else is wrong.

  • @bachmaninoff He did not read carefully my comments either. Just a loser with ADD. Probably one of those stupid and obnoxious Americans, who speak one language and not good at it either LOL

  • @1sashenka Awww , the little girl is stalking me. Please do yourself a favor and go reread your previous postings on the other channel. Then , go do some research and realize how fucking retarded and useless you are.

  • @1sashenka I love how mad you are hahahahah. This is probably one of the greatest victories i have ever had on this site.!!! Thank you.

  • @bachmaninoff LOL.... wow. Please go read the entire conversation...Seriously, you can't remember what you said? How does my interpretation of piano music have anything to do with this conversation. Initially i said this was a good performance but i prefer Gould's , then you followed my comment up with some stupid assumption about his life. And no you haven't read many books on Gould, because nowhere does he state any kind of general hatred towards Mozart.. you fail.

  • @bachmaninoff IF you happen to have some information/ quote to back up your bullshit besides the standard " The tragedy is Mozart died too old" . I am amazed at how such a well spoken person like yourself can be so stupid and ignorant. You clearly have no common sense or reasoning.

  • @BeBopDeluxe85

lol. Yes I remember what I said, you just misunderstood it. Do you not know when to bury the hatchet? As for your comment on my playing, yeah it was a work in progress, a first take at 3am after a lot of drinking. Yep, of course there are mistakes, given the circumstances of the recording. I have no problem with Gould: I respect him, I just don't don't care for his interpretations. As for my initial comment, perhaps it could have been worded in a more constructive manner.

  • @BeBopDeluxe85

Anyway, the common denominator here is that we both enjoy Mozart's music, and this great work by him. So let's just leave it at that ;) No need for insults or negativity...music is meant to bring people together, not ignite childish internet shit storms. So my apologies for offending you initially. Take care ;)

  • @bachmaninoff Hes just depressed, so the negativity comes out naturally for him

  • @1sashenka I looked him up on here, everywhere he goes he fights with people lol what a douche, must have taken steroids before he got fat, now his head is fucked

  • @bachmaninoff Ahh , yes all these people all know nothing about piano music. Furthermore, your initial comment made some silly claims . Once you realized you had nothing to back these up you have moved on to personal insults and ignorance. You are really pathetic.

  • @bachmaninoff This guy is a troll and likes to pick fights with his keyboard, he just made retarded comments at me too lol dont listen to that fatso, look at his profile, thats the best pic he could find? lol hes gotta be over 20% bodyfat, what does he know about nutrition and obviously music too

  • @bachmaninoff His eyes have also been soiled by old bodybuilding stories of jacking up the insulin by injesting tons of carbs after workout, and thats a good way to put on muscle, but in a long run, he may not be aware yet, this pushes the body closer towards insulin resistance, so you get lard over that muscle, and that what he looks like. And he argues with me over Vitamin C on the video and defends poster who says "Vitamin C makes Vitamin E" in body. That is abnormal right there

  • @BeBopDeluxe85 Stop trolling the net and pick fights you fucking keyboard warrior. Lose some fat before you preach about vitamins. Looks like you picking fights here too with your stupidness.

  • hahahahahahahahahahah 5:15

  • i don't usually do this....but i think i just shed a tear.....

  • This Hamburg recital was just miraculous. Every phrase in the Mozart spoke. No parrot repetition of sequences. Each section was played with meaning and very intimately. And what a Kinderszenen! Mmmm...just so. Horowitz never fails to surprise. I think in this recital more than any other, Horowitz found contentment.

  • nevskixx - your perception is beautiful. i agree that there is a unique assurance and breathing room, a brightness to this recital. he came full circle - to the city where his career outside russia began.

  • @kasyapa Thanks for your kind word and also thanks for posting.

  • simply put. this is art.

  • someguyhunter - he created without end.

  • Brain deterioration is such a lie this day and age.

  • it can be.

  • His own separate universe, and a very elegant, intelligent

    and humane one.

  • a beautiful comment, and getting deep to the nature of his art. music today needs just that - all of it.

  • heartbreaking... now they can hang together.

  • The old man still had it, didn't he?

  • more than ever, in some ways.

  • Thank you for sharing this recording.

  • you are truly welcome.
