it wasnt one of his proudest moments but it was a heat of the moment thing, the fan was shoutin things at him and he was stupid and shouldnt have reacted, same as rio, i dont think at the time ferdinand was thinkin of the ppl in the crowd he just lost his temper and kicked the ball as hard as he could. and as soon as hed done it he apologized and also apologized afterwards to the woman and gave her flowers with a bunch of united tickets so it was obviously a mistake
