Why is it that coverage of the Alpine events is so..ooooo poor?

They show every minute of curling, figure skating, hockey etc.., but when it comes to Mens Downhill, for example, they show 5 skiers (about 15 minutes) and announce the winner before coverage even begins. Lets give another network the olympic contract! Coverage form foreign networks is much better.

If you are able to, get CTV (or CBC depending on who wins the bid next time), Roger Sports Net and TSN from Canada next Olympics. They basically covered every event to its full entirety live and then they repeated the highlights again. Not much exposure for American atheletes since the networks are all Canadian. But I am quite proud of the Canadian coverage, it makes me happy. :P
